Takeaway Fish & Chip Shop with vegan options. Travelled specifically to get a vegan fish (Banana Blossom) and chips, the food was cooked to order in the vegetable oil as they also have dripping fryers. Waiting time was 20minutes, it was a busy time. Large portions and very tasty. Great to have a chip shop with vegan options. Recommend for vegans who fancy a chippy dinner.

I would recommend calling your order in before arriving if it's going to be a large order. This will minimise your wait time. They are the only gluten-free chip shop in Redcar and Cleveland area. The food is always consistently very good. Portion a little less when busy. Cod and chips

Great food Cooked fresh so hot when receiving your order Plenty of selection to choose from Staff pleasant and cheerful Downside on peak times there may be a big queue. But portions are good and quality of food good so worth the wait! Also only chip shop that does gluten free options as well.

Such lovely friendly & efficient service. The staff are rushed off their feet, yet they go above & beyond to provide excellent service. The curry sauce was the best I have had & the food was yummy. Excellent value. Thank you

As someone who was brought up here, works here and has had many (failed) romances here, it's safe to say that fish and chips are of utmost importance to the residents of Redcar and Cleveland. For my money, Sea Breeze provides *the* best battered cod in the area. This offsets the rather steep price (an issue nationwide; not just here) as well as the long wait times (because it's so popular). I've had both variants of the 'large' cod and chips, and each time the unbelievably amazing taste leaves me wanting more. Excellent.

Went to recar for the day.. at the end of the day we went to this fish shop before heading home. We got 2 kids cod bites meals, for me and my daughter. You get 4 decent sized cod bites, lots of chips, a drink and a mini packet of sweets, we got haribo which I thought was so cute =) They cook in beef dripping, except on I think Thursday, Friday and Saturday they can cook in vegetable oil for vegetarians. Don't quoat me on the days I can't remember =') we where served by Graham who was really lovely, smiley and happy, which is really nice to see, he was happy to chat whilst packing our order up and made sure he checked that we had everything before we left. Definitely return but on a vegetable oil day so my vegetarian partner can also get something.

Outstanding. Fish and chips were cooked perfectly, curry sauce was really tasty too. Anyone in the area must visit this place.

The most amazing Gluten Free fish and chips, served by one of the friendliest and happy guys I've ever been served by. If you're a Coeliac, this is the place to go. Very careful not to cross contaminate, even the salt was kept separate just for GF. Well done, will definitely visit again next time I'm up this way 👌

We went to Redcar for the afternoon and decided to stop here because of their vegan options. Staff were so welcoming, we were served by Carol and she was amazing. Portions were huge, would definitely recommend. ☺️

Awesome gluten free fish and chips. Really crunchy and the fish was flakey, though dry from how long it'd been sat (I'll get into that later). The chips were lovely and even the curry sauce is GF, though it tastes like its mixed with ketchup. That's good if you like it super sweet. My family got regular fish and chips and enjoyed there's . And for a medium it wasn't a bad size. Service was good but not fast, and the tiny shop is very busy, which is always a good sign. It loses half a star because my partners battered fish was broken up and parts of it were missing. 🤷‍♀️ Also, whilst we ordered three meals and gf scraps, the scraps were put on my fish and not in a separate bag so it was hard to scrape them off and share them out. Lastly, the other half star is lost because even though I phoned ahead to order, I still had to wait in line, which I'm not against, but I think my food had to sit there for a long time while I queued, because there's no separate queue for call ins and I'd ordered it for a specific time. By the time I actually collected my order, it'd been sitting there for half an hour, maybe more, and then a further 20 min to get home and dished up. In future I'll probably just drop in to order and wait the half hour so then I know it's not been sat for too long. All in all a nice fish and chips, good service, clean establishment with great decor, and lots of choice. would recommend.

One of very few chip shops in the area that have the option of frying in vegetable oil. I would suggest phoning in your order first. The food is always prepared to order and good quality.
