For me this was perfect. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was plentiful and promptly served. Can't fault it. And the chocolate brownie dessert was the best I've had in a long time! 5 stars
Atmosphere was perfect for me as it was quiet and low key.
Great selection on both the food and drink menus.
Good service between two members of staff.
The decor is a little tired, which seems to be a sign of the times with big chains, however it was very clean and comfortable.
We all had different Sunday roasts, which were piping hot and tasted lovely.
Only negatives were that the roast parsnips were tiny thin pieces and the roast beef was also on the thin side too.
Overall though it was a lovely meal.

Was a bit quiet for mid week, but it's homely and comfortable.
Staff made sure we were left alone while eating and asked if we needed more drinks brought to the table, instead of going to the bar. Highly recommended
I ordered the Signature burger served with fries and onion rings. Tasty meaty burger. Well presented and served hot. All our meals were very good. Great service. Good selection of beers. Recommended.
Lovely little pub just off the roundabout by the MOT centre. Great staff, great food! Lovely atmosphere! Definitely will be going again! Highly recommend the Trio of Roasts and pigs in blankets!

I like this pub and go there quite often. I’m usually a solo diner and the Manageress and staff make you feel very welcome and always do their best to squeeze me in. Some places can make you feel really awkward when eating alone so I appreciate their efforts. Food is very nice and a good selection and the location is nice with plenty of parking too.
We had an enjoyable meal with good service and a warm welcome. We had lucy as our waitress, she was very attentive and friendly. The food was good and arrived quickly.

Food was good, nice and hot. Dessert was delicious. Think the dessert prices are a little high. Ok for a meal out, but wouldn't go there if it was for a special occasion.
Not a great vegetarian choice but what they offer was nice. Long wait for food, however, and a little on the pricey side.

Myself and two friends went for last minute Sunday roast yesterday. The best Sunday roast we have found. Veg cooked to perfection lots of meat. Like home made. Compliments to the chef and to lucy and Sarah and another chap. Didn’t get his name name (tall guy) who were so attentive and nothing too much trouble. Fantastic and we have tried lots of places for a roast. You are definitely a winner. Good price too Thank you.
Me and my friend came into the chequers this evening of the off chance, and was seated with a smile. Service was great from Lucy and Sarah very friendly and efficient, I had the smothered chicken and it was delicious
Enjoyed a nice burger and drinks.
