Really enjoy going to this pub, lovely little old place and friendly members of staff. Kids enjoy the garden, the bouncy castle they put up on selected days is great too. They could spend a bit of money on the apparatus in the garden as it is very old now. But the location is excellent, tucked away
Food was good. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was lively. Difficult to find but worth it when you do. Liked everything about it apart from dogs being allowed in as I am allergic to them. Pleasant evening.
We had a great time at this local pub! We were a very large party, coming in late on Sunday lunch with no booking. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, both to our lack of planning and the large amount of children in our party! We camped outside, the kids enjoyed the play area and we s
This is a lovely country pub with great food and friendly staff. The kids loved the park. Make sure you try their Sunday Roast. It's incredible.
Paid a visit to this village pub whilst visiting family, we were welcomed by a very friendly lady named Liz and her colleague whose name I didn’t catch. The menu is varied and interesting, all 6 of us ordered something different and all were delicious , will definitely return when next in the area .
Nice country pub, friendly staff and tasty food. Unfortunately not everyone likes dogs...especially in a small area where you are eating, I'd recommend the owners look to have 2 eating areas one where dogs can continually whine and pant (which we encountered throughout our meal with neighbouring tab
Really lovely country pub, tucked away next to the Grade 1 listed St Mary’s Church. Had an amazing Sunday roast lamb lunch - both quality and quantity - which is unusual for most pubs - and at a really good price for the area. Really friendly staff, great service and a lovely environment. The gar
Stubble across this little gem of a pub whilst visiting the area. Great "proper" pub. The landlord was extremely friendly. Lovely beer called Lantern Ale, brewed especially for them. Immediately booked for dinner at the weekend. No nonsense, pub faire at reasonable prices. Really worth seeking out.
Excellent food and beer. Very friendly service. And wonderful jazz music
We came here for Sunday dinner and it was amazing! The atmosphere in the pub was welcoming and homely. Will definitely be returning for another roast!
Brilliant local Pub. Food was great, Brakspeare brews on tap. Quiet and cozy.
Amazing food, cooked perfectly. Great service, friendly and chatty. Check out the chocolate brownie made by the chef - wow Definitely recommend the Holly Bush.
I came here on Saturday 24th June for my mum's 90th birthday. It was booked by my brother, who lives nearby as I'd asked him to book somewhere special. The beer was a bit expensive, but the quality of the food made up for it. As a starter, i had Temprer prawns, and the main was the full rack of ribs
Great place, we came here on Wed early afternoon and had a chance for live music :) place with soul - next time we’ll pop up for food as plates are looking great <3
Excellent food at very reasonable prices. A large and varied menu. Staff are friendly and efficient.
Brilliant homemade pub food, friendly landlord and patrons. We enjoyed throughly our afternoon here. Looking forward to the next visit. I think we have found a new local!!
I had dinner here on Saturday evening with a large group who had been out all day in the fresh air so we were ready for good food and a comfortable evening and the Hollybush was great. The food was excellent, the service was friendly and the pub atmosphere was active without being loud.
Lovely location, lovely friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, delicious Sunday roast (better than mine 😣) cant wait to return, still dreaming about it! 🤗
Stopped for dinner and drinks when staying nearby. Good quality pub grub at reasonable prices. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
