Our Daughter and Son-in-Laws Wedding Reception was hosted here. The food was excellent! Colin and Debbie you did us proud .All the staff were so friendly and attentive.I would definitely recommend anyone to go here for a meal.

Lucky to have this gem on our doorstep. A warm friendly atmosphere with food to die for. Have eaten here on many occasions in small family groups to fun live entertainment evenings and I have to say the food is ALWAYS superb. Great selection of wines real ales etc. Children and dogs are always made welcome . Have to try the NEW menu... it's soooo difficult to choose!!!

First visit for us & it won't be the last. Food was excellent. .. I recommend the Chilli & Crayfish Risotto. ..friends & hubby had Lamb Shank & Thai Green Curry. ..all thoroughly enjoyed their food.

Eighteen of our family had the most wonderful Christmas Day lunch yesterday. Food was timely, hot and beautifully cooked. The children enjoyed theirs too and loved their presents at the end of the meal. The staff were efficient, friendly and saw to our every need.
Well done Colin and Debbie and all your staff. We feel lucky to have such a friendly pub in Redbourn.

Just had a fab lunch at The Cricketers. Halloumi and quinoa salad, with just a hint of heat in the salsa, followed by a very decadent sticky toffee pudding and caramel ice-cream. Yum! Great food and a lovely atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you!

We've been to the cricketers many times and have never been disappointed. The food is 5* restaurant standard and the service is fantastic. We were unable to book for Valentine's Day due to work, however were offered the same deal without question for the 15th. If you're going to visit anywhere in Hertfordshire, make sure it's the cricketers. We'll never go anywhere else!

Holds great events throughout the year including barbeques in the summer pub quizzes and Christmas Carol evening.

Nice food, bit pricey for taste, would expect something more/to fit price not just standard burger. Excellent coleslaw. Friendly staff. Did miss providing cutlery and napkins so got messy lol. Very good of them to have bouncy castle for children! Good place to eat, outside pod and table opinions.
My family and I had such a lovely afternoon together here… we didn’t want to leave. Amazing food with a nice selection of beverages to choose from. The beautiful cosy pods are a fantastic idea if the weather is a bit hit and miss. We were not rushed. The staff were friendly and attentive. Keep up the great work! 🥰

Lovely little pub with an awesome chef and bar staff.
16 members of U3a enjoyed a wonderful Sunday Lunch in a private room upstairs.
All dishes had been pre-ordered and the waiting staff served us with a pleasant combination of friendliness and professionalism.

A wonderful dish, so tasty and I’ll definitely be back again. I had the sea bass, garlic potatoes and veg. My husband enjoyed the Shepherd’s pie which had been recommended and they wasn’t wrong! Five stars !!! Dog friendly, cosy and warm. Thank you 😊
Not expensive, but not cheap either. Staff were lovely. Nice place, fair selection of food, been here a few times and will come again. Good place to end a country walk.

We went here for a Wake. It was in a lovely room upstairs. The Staff kept coming up and checking everyone was ok for drinks. There was a great choice of food which just kept arriving. All the food was very tasty. The parking is opposite in the field and entrance to that not so obvious. Overall, very impressed.
Went with 4 colleagues tonight who had never been before. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our food. Service was faultless and the drinks flowed. Everyone commented on what a great pub we have and can’t agree more. Sure they will want an excuse to go back again!
This is a lovely pub. The view is serene, but the food is even better. The service was excellent. The waitress and barman had a great personality. Highly recommended

Lovely quaint pub, small & cosy inside but with a large seated garden area, with dining pods, outside opposite the common & cricket green ....sells some ales, ciders, bottled & keg usual suspects... usually rock up on my motorbike for something cold & refreshing.....never eaten here, hence 4*

We had a lovely Sunday Lunch in the ground floor restaurant area which is cosy and well decorated. It has a lovely atmosphere, and he staff are all very friendly, helpful and professional serving us our meals and drinks promptly and correctly and nothing was too much trouble. Our family had a lovely time and everyone enjoyed their meals including the Grandchildren.
Well done to the whole team of bar, waiting staff and chefs. Nice beers and guest ales too. Well worth a visit! - Paul H.
Two of us had a meal yesterday lunchtime. Nice friendly welcome and pub had a nice atmos. Meals came after a short wait and were huge and delicious.
Combined with a lovely pint of real ale this was one of the better eating out experiences we've had in a long while.
The car park is very small though but, of course,
nothing can be done about that!
Will definitely go back again - looking forward to that already!!!
