Food was excellent and very well presented. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The bar area was full of quirky and interesting furnishings. Only marking the atmosphere down to 4 because, on a wet Saturday lunchtime, we were the only diners present. I can't understand why when the food is so good
Arrived here with 3 tired children and were made very welcome. The food is freshly cooked so took a while to arrive. Its well worth the wait though, the chips were fantastic! Lovely pub, lovely staff and lovely food. Thank you

First time here, thoroughly enjoyed the meal with friendly and attentive service. Loved that food is freshly cooked to order so heat level of my curry was adjusted to my taste. Definitely worth a visit.
The best meal we have ever had, the owners were lovely and the food was exceptional. It was so delicious that we're going back tomorrow.

Haven't been to The Sporting Chance in years so thought we would give it a go again... was not disappointed! Amazing food we had a roast, served hot and plenty of sides, dessert was amazing. Friendly staff, the owner was very warm and welcoming and happy to have a chat. Great, relaxing atmosphere.
Mother’s Day meal saved when we were able to book a takeaway Sunday Lunch and dessert from this lovely pub as we were unable to return home as planned as our grandchildren had Covid.
