Atrocious service! Had to wait ages for the order. Its a KFC so you know what you are getting. Mine was freshly fried and hot. The order machine would not let me change my drink which was annoying,and the fire alarm went off so we had to evacuate! All in all not the best experience.
The best KFC I ever had we were on our way to Cornwall and stopped for a bite and it was absolutely gorgeous, crispy skin and it was freshly made the chips were so good too.
Mega busy but the staff coped well. Friendly and helpful they did there best . Food was good as always from KFC.
Convenient mid journey break at 2:30 am on the way to catch a ferry to France. Enjoyed a Costa coffee with a cookie Toilets spotless.
The food served at this branch of KFC is delicious. The service is also excellent. I recommend this outlet to those who travel on the M4 motorway and are taking a break at Moto Reading Westbound motorway services after such a long journey.
I bought a dinner from Chow and one from KFC.
While waiting for my KFC order, I sat at a table with my chow dinner by KFC. When my KFC order number was called, I went over to collect it and in the minute or two I was away from the table someone cleared my chow meal away along with the condiments and straws I had.
Hence I wasn't very happy.
Normal service. It's peak hours when we got our orders. Taste like it is.
Ok motorway stop.
Quite a few outlets, Greggs, M&S, Burger king etc. Something for everyone.👍
Had an absolutely amazing experience here. We reached the service station just after 10pm and KFC was closing. I told the staff that I have a special needs daughter and it would be difficult for me to explain to her that there is no cheese burger (yeps, my daughter calls the zinger burger, a cheese burger). The staff were very accommodating, they took our order whilst having the biggest smile on their faces.
As a parent of a special needs - I can't express enough gratitude; made my daughter's day and let me continue our journey in peace ;p
Was quiet, got food quickly, correctly and can't complain to be honest.
The service at the Costa was brilliant...how ever the service at KFC was not...the atmosphere and surroundings were awesome.
It's a typical KFC. I love it and it really is Finger likkin' good.
