Awesome cocktails mixed to perfection. Their Rum Old Fashioned is wonderful and the bar staff even asked for my preferred alcohol so she could make the perfect drink! What amazing service! Will definitely visit again!
High Spirits Cocktail Company is a quirky cocktail place for sure. Inside the decor is sparse with an industrial feel. Some interesting lighting effects on the go though which creates an edgy atmosphere. Drinks list is pretty expansive so you should be able to find what you want. Note the menu is online and you scan a QR code when you are there - there are no paper menus to hand. Might be worth downloading the menu before you go … The bar staff were friendly and efficient. One thing that didn’t vibe is when you pay you get an option to select the tip you want to give. That doesn’t feel right for me and doesn’t work for me - but that’s just me and shouldn’t detract from the venue or staff. Some great tunes to be heard as well. The clientele are certainly on the more interesting part of the scale from my experience but that’s a good thing. Yep. Recommended.
Have had nothing but good experience with this bar. The staff are so knowledgeable and friendly, especially Caz and Ox but also the rest of the team. We come most weeks and feel like part of the High Spirits family, no matter your preferences and allergies they will tailor everything to give you the best experience. Highly recommended to come and give a try!
We had a lovely time celebrating our one year anniversary this evening with some delicious cocktails. A lovely bar with a chilled out and friendly vibe, and passionate attentive staff. Thank you for the fantastic service Harry and Michael (Ox)
The drinks were stunning (would recommend the Pina colada) and Ox even went above and beyond to create us some custom cocktails which weren't on the menu. He also gave us free samples of different liqueurs to try, all of which were stunning! 🤤

I visited High Spirits Cocktail Bar with a group of work friends last week and we had a great time. The bar is located in the heart of Reading, and it has a very stylish and modern interior. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and they were happy to recommend cocktails to us based on our taste. We all tried a variety of different cocktails, and they were all delicious. The prices were reasonable, and the portions were generous.

Amazing hidden gem in reading. This cocktail bar offers everything you could ask for. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, incredible cocktails, cosy atmosphere. Highly recommended place to go, and worth doing the dice game if you visit.

I can't believe it's taken me this long to leave a review! Been coming here regularly with work friends and my partner for months now, absolutely love it. The highlight is how kind, chatty and friendly the staff are, and they really care about their craft. They love making cocktails and meeting new people, they basically give you free entertainment with all the funny things they come out with.
And the drinks ... Such an amazing, diverse selection. About 30 cocktails on the menu (including like 6 alcohol free ones!) and they suit every single palette. Fairly priced too, between 8 and 11.50 and offering 2 for 1, 2 hours a day (4 hours for members, and until 9pm!). If you get the membership you also get one free cocktail a week curated by them. It's such a generous offer and one that speaks for the love they have of their customers.
Can't recommend this enough as your regular cocktail bar of choice :)
Great cocktails buzzing atmosphere. The mixologists are a legends. You ask they fix it for you if it's not to your taste
1st time I been in there. Lovely friendly manager and staff. My wine was off and the bar attender change it straight away
