This is in John Lewis. It's on the ground floor. I thought it was very nice & quiet. I got a coffee & cake. I had to go back & ask the staff for when my slice carrot cake was. Because they was to more staff checking anyway.

Wonderful experience today, my wife is Coeliac and Julie made her a personal gluten free sandwich. Food was great and service excellent. Will definitely return.

The cafe was set up one week before the first lockdown but I'm glad to see that it is now thriving. It's on the ground floor at the back of John Lewis's and reflects the quality always found in a John Lewis store. Lovely coffee, a great range of cakes (I had a slice of Panettone that I dunked in my cappuccino) and, of course, friendly, professional staff. I thoroughly recommend it.

Lovely cafe. Expensive end. Nice atmosphere and lots of space and light. Food is a bit fancy for people with allergies or children. The cakes looked amazing but we had savoury food.

Good selection of both food and drink although some menu options had run out by 1245 on a weekday (13/02/23) - a little disappointing. The vibrant salads mix was especially delightful to both the eyes and taste buds. The free flavoured tap water dispenser is a pleasing inclusion but delivers water at, at best, a trickle and this should be addressed. Note they're a concession within John Lewis not actually part of the partnership. Helpfully they participate in JL's coffee/cake members deal but would not accept a JL gift card for payment.

A newish cage inside John Lewis. Feels better than the older cafe a floor up. Seems lighter. Drinks are brought to you, which can reduce queuing, not too sure on the range of food but the cakes were good.

A delightful little gem hidden at the rear of John Lewis in Broad Street. A pleasant place to sit and enjoy a lovely cup of tea of coffee accompanied by one (or two) of the enticing items on offer in the food displays. The staff are lovely and a real pleasure to meet. 🙂
