Excellent restaurant. The restaurant offers plenty of seats and is bright and colourful on the inside. There is a vast selection on the list. For my main course, I chose wings and chips with a great sauces. The food was delicious and the service was polite. I highly recommend visiting this place.
Excellent service, a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, and a stunning surroundings. The only drawback was that we had to wait a long time for the bill. Everything else food just perfect. Recommended
Used to live a very short distance from this Mr Cod. Never had anything dodgy to eat from them. However, I have witnessed several times customers come in and be very abusive towards staff. These guys take it in the chin and are respectful to everyone. Come in, be polite, make your order and if you have to wait go to the off licence next door or whatever. Genuinely good food and very patient staff given all the rubbish they have to out up with. Will be visiting again now that I'm back in Reading.
After a bad experience with some discrimination towards myself and my wife during lockdown, we gave it another shot, (basically in an act of desperation as hadn't eaten all day after running kitchens and getting home later than usual so nothing else open!) However, it was a completely different experience this time. Friendly, polite and food lovely, no sign of the individual from lockdown, thankfully! Happy we were in a position we HAD to try you again, just a shame about the individual you had there before or we would have been regular customers before now living opposite you!
Standard chicken burgers and chips. Open til late hence 4 stars plus they hit the spot and the chips are good.
Only bad review is they advertise sugary donuts, but its actually 1 very small chocolate donut - disappointed.
Excellent meal at attractive cost, provided by a lovely staff. I would recommend it and would revisit.
just had the peri peri chicken meal and it was the best i have ever had. Staff could do with being more friendlier but the food cannot be faulted. Was perfectly cooked not burnt and felt fresh unlike the cold and smelly stuff sold by KFC.

Mr cod Witney Street is a great place, and chips from. The food is normally prefect cook and ready to collect on time. I use deliveroo pick up most of time I order which means I just select what I want send it just before leaving home. I normally walk thier and get to jump the queue and food is ready to collect. I would recommend the Mr cod and especially the deliveroo pick up service.
