Very delicious food. The service was good. Good atmosphere.
Loved the nkobi and suya I don't know the name of the soup I ate but it definitely wasn't Oha as requested. The edikakong was just okay nothing exta about it.
Good ambience, lovely staff
Dont be fooled by the looks of it. This place is very nice. Heard about it from a friend who Really likes the food. Decor is beautiful. Portions are big! food is really tasty.
We were the only ones there on a Tuesday 17.40. Took the kitchen 15min to have our food ready.
Prices are ok. same price you pay at TGI, Franco, Wagamamas, starters from £8 and main meal £12-£17
It is a good place to take friends or family members.
It's surprisingly very wheelchair friendly !
Delicious food, didn’t take too long to prepare. Very helpful, friendly and polite staff.
Great tasting authentic African dishes. I've been a few times and been impressed each time with the service and quality of the dishes.
If you like chilli (scotch bonnet level) this is the place to go. This is West African cuisine which has a lot of grilled meat and fish and fried plantains. The Jollof rice is fantastic and something everyone who tries West African cuisine for the first time must have. Reading has plenty of predictable large chain restaurants, this is something different that you won't find everywhere (except their two other branches in London!) They also do takeaway if you don't want to be seen sweating in the restaurant on account of the chilli's.
Great food. Staff are professional. Menu could be more inclusive. There is an assumption everyone will know what the dishes are and I became dependant on the waitress to explain. So maybe a description with ingredients. There is also one level of hot and may not be to everyone's taste. Otherwise would have give full marks
The food was amazing. It took long to arrive but was definitely worth it. I'd advise you have something to eat before you head there.
Lovely, clean, relaxing atmosphere and wonderful service.
Nice looking restaurant and really delicious food. Enjoyed the chicken suya and Egusi soup with Amala. Wouldn't hesitate to come back . Thank you
Beautiful restaurant and welcoming staff. Lovely garnished gizzards, but egusi wasn't up to standard
Really enjoyed the food, ambiance and service. This was the first time to an African (Nigerian blend) restaurant, and really didnt know what to expect. Fair play to the waiter for taking the time to explain the different types of dish, how they come etc. Most of the food is spicy, which is great for me, but possibly not for all. Great flavours. Worth a try. Thank you, see you again soon...!
Great food, great ambience and friendly staff. On our arrival the restaurant was not full. However, there was only one person serving the whole place, taking good and drink orders. This meant that there was quite a wait for both food and beverage orders. We almost didn't notice the wait though because the atmosphere was very pleasant and the music was great. Four stars because the staffing complement could have been higher.... Highly recommended.
