Simple stop over with a few friends after playing Golf at the Berkshire Golf Club. Just what the doctor ordered nice hot shower and comfy bed. Food and drink was plentiful of choice and really tasty. What more you would want for a reasonable amount of money. You want super super posh then go and pay
I think you get what you pay for here. Its cheap & cheerful. The rooms are nice mostly clean & tidy however we did have a slight leak in the toilet & there was only 1 set of towels. The restaurant doesn't really cater for food allergies & I had to take my own milk again. We were staying for 2 nights
We visited as a group of 10 for Sunday lunch. The pub has a great offering of food and drinks and is incredible value for money. The whole group thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The pub is modern, clean and service was good and attentive.
Sadly we didn’t visit the hotel this time, but will definitely give that side a try next time I’m around! The pub/restaurant staff were fantastic, quick service with a smile and the food was just awesome!
Will definitely be back to visit Eddie and his team!

Wonderful Accomodation we needed close to Henley on Thames for a charity walk in the Chilterns. Large room with bath. Good pub with reasonable food at good prices. Met lots of like minded people before and after the event. Rooms were a bit tired but clean and everything worked as it should. Booking
This is a decent hotel considering the good value, a little tired here and there but that's just general wear and tear. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was really good.
10/10 experience! Had my baby shower there, the space was perfect, the staff were so helpful and bubbly, everyone loved the food, drinks are greatly priced, it’s got a lovely garden area which was perfect to flow out to in the sun it was a great experience and we will definitely be back for any futu

Rooms were dated and much in need of an upgrade. The pillows were very hard.
Had a great working stay at the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean and spacious. The pub staff were fantastic and the food was great.
Excellent place for Sunday drinks and brunch . Visited the place yesterday to celebrate Father’s Day and it was very nice . The staff were very cordial and service was excellent . We tried Mexican spicy enchiladas, Southern fried burger and Chicken Tikka Masala . My son loved the taste of Chicken Ti
Amazing staff really help and so friendly. Eddie, Debbie, Anne, Natalie, Conner and Jazz. Dan is great but a Man Utd supporter 😂🤣. Highly recommend
Great value for money pub. Ideally situated for travellers passing through Reading or local families. Service and food was lovely.
Lovely area and kind and helpful people, went for a morning run around the wildlife park to see an otter. Hotel staff super helpful and chatty and good at pool. Food was absolutely marvellous and the staff knowledge 10/10. Will be visiting again thank you Debbie.
Large car park, very close to the entrance... entrance is easily accessible...
