Busy Midweek which is always a good sign. Good atmosphere, lovely setting and pleasant table service. Slightly expensive but you are buying quality and quantity. Give them a try, you won't regret it.

We had a wonderful family dinner at Cunningman on a Thursday night. This is where I always bring my friend here with the ambient atmosphere. I love the pork belly as always and the new menu bring the skews to the table is a decent surprise as well! I also want to say a BIG THANK YOU to Mollie! It was a pretty busy night but she managed to take care of all of our little requests. much appreciated! Now I am looking forward to our Christmas dinner here!

Stopped here for brunch on a recent boating holiday with friends, it was a lovely friendly pub and had a nice cozy feel to the place although the pub is quite large it has been segregated into smaller areas giving it a more private and intimate feel . Food and service was excellent and we were amazed at how our waitress could remember all 5 of our orders including drinks without writing anything down and everything was correct when delivered to the table , a very enjoyable experience all round. Unfortunately we didn't take any pictures in the pub but I've uploaded some from Charlie the blue monkey Instagram page that we took on our holiday

My partner and I had a wonderful lunch on a Saturday afternoon. I chose the King prawn , tomato and chilli linguine. I loved every mouthful. The prawns were perfect and so was the linguine. The chilli kick was fantastic , just enough not too much to over power the dish. I had a pink gin and tonic. It was very nice. I also thought that Ella the person who served us was wonderful , friendly and professional too. I had a fantastic lunch and would recommend this place to everyone.

Such a great place to spend a sunny day on! There is a huge courtyard, and a really big area inside. As for the inside area, it has a cozy atmosphere with great music! 🎶 A lovely place at all! And dogs 🐕 are welcome, too! ♥️

Food was very good, can wholeheartedly recommend the pork belly, the ice cream desert and cocktails were dreamy! Staff, not so nice. slow service, no customer care, very poor, especially when you mention there is Bday involved.

Super good food and fabulous service. We ordered the Roasted Salmon and the Ribeye Steak. The Salmon was nicely cooked and the steak was tender and juicy. The service by Alex was impeccably prompt, attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is cozy, casual, comfortable and intimate. The outside seating is very pleasant especially on a cool summer night. The prices were fair and reasonable for good quality food and service.

We enjoyed our meal in the garden. My steak was delicious: in order to get a medium rare one, I asked for rare (as I usually do in this country), and it was perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was relaxed and and service was efficient and friendly. I had downloaded the app, which gave me £20 off the bill - what’s not to love!

Really fantastic Sunday roasts and a chocolate brownie to die for! Huge thanks to Ray for her great service, and thanks to The Cunning Man for a wonderful lunchtime treat. Really lovely buzzing restaurant (genuinely dog-friendly) with wonderful food and service. Will definitely be back!

The outside area and garden are amazing. The interior is warm, welcoming and clean. The tableware clean as well. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. We ordered a Caesar’s Salad, two Signature burgers and a Pizza Margarita an d drinks. Everything was tasty especially the burgers and the drinks (a pint of beer and a rose lemonade) were well chilled. What we think it was less than expected was the chips served with the burgers (out of the freezer). For the price we expected the chips to be fresh at least. Also the Caesar’s salad was not we expected for the price. It was served in a largely rimmed plate but the amount of salad was the regular size for 1 person. I would definitely though give them one more chance to improve before making a final decision about The Cunning Man.

Wonderful food and service from our waitress Mollie! Haven't been to the Cunning Man for quite some time and this visit did not disappoint. They were able to seat us with a dog without a reservation for an evening meal. Mollie was lovely and gave the right amount of attention during our stay. All our meals were amazing and delicious, the puddings too were really nice. Overall a great expectations and will definitely come again.

We had a fab evening. Ella was an amazing waitress- who delivered great service, super helpful and polite. She couldn’t do more for us. The band playing with the singer, James, (Mirror Effect) created the perfect atmosphere. A throughly enjoyable eve!

We went here for Sunday dinner with family it looked like a nice spot and had good reviews. We did book in advance which is probably advisable it was quiet when we arrived at 6pm but that is late for a Sunday! Unfortunately they were out of beef and lamb but had the pork belly which everyone was happy with as I'm not usually a fan of pork belly I went for the house burger instead. Well none of us were disappointed the roast dinners looked fantastic and the pork belly looked amazing as well I was a little jealous! The burger was also lovely the pulled brisket on top was amazing very very tasty! We all enjoyed the food and the staff seemed very nice especially our waitress who bought some water and a treat over for the dog as well! Lovely location with walks near by and the pub itself was a really nice building and nice and comfy with an open fire. Would definitely recommend!

Ella was lovely, very helpful and confident for her age 👍👍 belly pork was really good but not impressed with the crackling 😞 it tasted like it was out of a packet! Lovely atmosphere as always, love the fairy lights! Small suggestion, background music was a bit loud 😉
