This place serves just about the best fish and chips I have eaten anywhere, I can’t rate / recommend highly enough. The food is absolutely spot on and friendly, cheerful service too. Good value at £9.10 for small cod, chips and mushy peas which were generous portion sizes.

Love the fish and chips here although my parents also love the chicken. Best value for money in reading, I share one large portion. A quirky little take out fish and chips spot, generous portions at a reasonable price. A little greasy perhaps but cooked fresh, served super hot and the chips (fries) were indeed excellent. The owner is a bit of character, so don’t be surprised.

A great fish and chip shop is a rare find. The owners make great fish and chips as well as other usual staples such as fried chicken etc. Friendly efficient and welcoming. Worth a visit
