Lovely afternoon spent at Henry street with my 3 boys as an after school treat to start the Easter holidays 🐣we had cake and tea in the coffee shop which tasted yummy and then we did the Easter bunny hunt around the garden centre which was really good fun my eldest loved the chocolate treat at the end 🍫 x
Loved the new restaurant. I had the Greek salad which was delicious BUT can I just say that the portion size was enormous! Had about 40 olives, green and black, which I love and lots and lots of colourful tomatoes with cucumber and red onion and feta. I took more than half home and was enough for myself and hubby at teatime! No lettuce though. Would suggest you make portion smaller!
My daughter and I enjoyed a very tasty lunch on 27 June to celebrate her birthday . We ordered fish and chips and both really enjoyed it . The staff were very friendly and we only waited a few minutes for our meals .
This is our favorite go to place for Sunday morning breakfast which is reasonably priced and very popular. Fast efficient service once you have ordered. It also does all kinds of daytime meals.
The garden centre sells everything you could think of to make your garden complete.
Beautiful plants...garden furniture..books...sweets etc.
The kids can even feed the large fish in a customer friendly pool.
Henry street garden centre is a good place to go to because they have got lovely stuff in there
Today we visited Henry Street Cafe for a special ladies 102nd Birthday!! We were looked after so well by the attentive staff there and they exceeded our expectations with the great service they gave us. Thank you!
Henry street is an excellent garden centre also a good place to have lunch or afternoon ☕️,friendly and good value
As always superb hosts for Wokingham district cub scouts sixes supper . Excellent food . Superb venue. Welcoming staff. Thank you very much
Fantastic garden centre with huge choice and friendly staff. Love the restaurant too. Well worth a visit.
Love this place, came here a couple of weeks ago, had a very tasty breakfast in their beautiful cafe.
Looked round at all the lovely things they have for sale and spoke to a very helpful and knowledgeable young guy in the aqua centre about ponds, pond life and fish.
Very impressed with the whole experience.
First time at Henry Street as we have Squires on our doorstep. Not much different to Squires on Heathlands Rd but a few good gifts and slightly larger it seems but that can just be that it was a new layout to my brain.
Didn't actually look at anything "GARDEN" though so can't comment on it as a garden centre
Cafe layout was spacious and the indoor outdoor seating in the conservatory was good too.
Parking was OK but was there 3pm til closing (last car in car park)
Reason for going- Central place to meet a friend for coffee.
No photos of any real use but this is of one of the products I didn't buy.
I’ve used them a couple of times online and the quality of the roses are superb. Delivered promptly and in fabulous condition. Well done. One full of buds and flowering lovely and the other yet to bloom but both look in great condition.
Haven’t been here for ages but it was recommended to buy a pond plant. They had a nice collection. I also had a certain branded voucher I’d had for ages to buy a rose. They also have a lovely collection. The place has really grown.! The food is a bit pricey but other cafes need to take a leaf and serve these tiny pots of salad dressing with their sandwiches and salads!! Nice touch.
Loads of seating, inside and out (under cover) and dogs welcome.
Good supplier of various plants and shrubs
The restaurant is very good and well priced and a good selection of main meals and puddings
They now have their Christmas decorations out for sale with a very good selection with lots of different colours and items and they are still adding more items on the shelves and adding more sections.
They also have a very good selection of gifts
The food was as good as always we had the all day breakfast with tea and coffee.
The food in the restaurant was wonderful- lovely girl working on the till. All staff friendly, helpful and polite. Magnificent Christmas display this year!
A lovely place to visit as something to do in an afternoon. The garden centre is quite big, and has an aquatic shop, restaurant, pottery cafe and pet shop. The restaurant was quite busy and so the queue was quite long. The service was okay - quite quick but staff were not very happy or welcoming. The food and drinks were very nice, and not too unreasonably priced.
Always a pleasure to visit. I just wanted a cyclamen to cheer up an empty pot and the choice of sturdy colourful plants available was amazing. I ended up with 4 for £10. They make a lovely pink and pink-edged white splash in and around my pot in the garden. Thank you.
Great for plants, especially roses and the restaurant is brilliant. You can enjoy the food inside or in the dog friendly outside terrace. There's ample parking with plenty of disabled bays and although the outside plant area is on two levels there are excellent ramps for both trolleys and wheelchairs. Everything seems fresh and watered and well laid out.
Great selection of Christmas decorations, easy and plentiful parking. The restaurant is warm and welcoming, with friendly staff and great food. Have been here numerous times over the years and regularly return even if for a wander round followed by a cuppa and cake. The restaurant has a good selection and caters for vegans.
