After visiting last night with my 2 year old and two 10 year olds, I wanted to say how fantastic the staff were. They played with my children. Had them up watching pizzas being made, taught them to toss dough and generally made the evening so much fun for them. They had the best evening my friend and I enjoyed too. What a lovely child friendly restaurant even on a Saturday evening. That’s RARE. I wish I had taken the guys names but thank you again it was brilliant

Staff were extremely polite, our server was a little slow at coming to take our order and the table wasn't set when we got there. They did apologise that student discount wasn't valid in December which was annoying but they were kind about it. I had a sharing platter starter as my main which had chicken wings, calamari and doughballs- great alternative to pizza. Strawberry lemonade was lovely, but quite expensive for what it was.

Was a pleasant pizza with good flavour. The Italian translation does help keep things authentic although when the staff call out something in Italian it certainly keeps you on your toes if you are not bilingual. The pizza was a little thin but just enough to fill me up with the dough balls beforehand. Drink prices were reasonable although when included with the meal all in per person the price is quite expensive for the product. The restaurant could be a little larger. Those are the only downsides. The food is nice aswell as the environment which appears well cleaned.

A great pizza experience, the staff are very good and will give you alternatives if have intolerance to a food or just don't like an option on menu. Pizza express next to Broadstreet mall is our go to restaurant. My wife had broken her ankle and in a wheelchair and it wasn't a problem as the access and table layouts were fine to navigate.

Off the beaten track in Reading, so a bit less busy than the one along the River Kennet, which is a plus. Food is always great at PE, whichever branch I've eaten at. Service is usually friendly & pretty good, though can be slow at busy times. Has overtaken the Hut as my favourite pizza place, mostly because there are more restaurants in places I visit often, whether in London or elsewhere.

Nice pizza, nice waiting staff, good location, fresh food, good bottled beer. The menu is good for a chain restaurant. The chef cooks in an open area of the restaurant so you can see the hygiene and the techniques. The place can get crowded so book ahead.

It was a quiet evening. We were served quickly and attentively. Pizza was nicely cooked. Salad was OK. No salt on the table. Health conscious are catered for here.

Another of the classic chain of mid-range restaurants specialising in pizza and similar dishes. If that's your thing then this is a great example. Nicely located (near bars, other attractions, and station) and a good size (big enough without losing the ambiance) along with good service makes this one worth a visit. Really pleased that "calzone" is back on the menu, yum!

Good pizza and very friendly staff. The tables were clean and the place looked between average and good. Only the prices were a little high, considering the type of restaurant Pizza Express is. Overall a pleasant stay.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was good. Pizzas are pricey so look out for their offers online for a more reasonable bill!
