It's a night for Chinese food, and staying at a hotel close by, Beijing noodle house came up high in the results!!! Plenty of dishes to choose from, very reasonable prices, mix of customers origins where the majority I would say Asian, meaning it's proper Asian food! I hadn't had Udon noodles for a while so it wasn't hard to choose. They were cooked perfectly!!! Soft , tasty, rich , nice touch with the crab Quick service, not the most attentive but effective! I wasn't impressed by the table quality, either too old to be cleaned properly or should be replaced with a newer one, but I was just unlucky picking one of the old style tables, not the Chinese good looking ones :-) not sure how the English Victorian paintings / decoration fitted in this place, preferred the wall with the Japanese art! I tried their Chinese tea (teabag), it was ok. Dessert - why not? So I opted in for the banana fritter with syrup which was very tasty! Definitely going back to try more dishes!

This place has both Malaysian and Thai inspired food. My spicy pork was good spicy and it was a big portion. The prices are reasonable as a single dish meal cost anywhere between £4.50 to £7.50. The noodle dishes were huge, I noticed the neighbouring tables having them. Service was fast, food came relatively fast although the restaurant was half full and the taste of the food was good. I'll be back to try some of the Malaysian inspired dishes like the sambal fish.

We really enjoyed our meal here, so much so that I returned the following week for lunch. The Singapore style flat noodles (cho fan?) were delicious as was the laksa soup (huge as well). The staff are all very sweet and do their best to accommodate your requests.

I love this place. Yes it's cheap. Yes, the plates dont all match. Yes, it doesn't look all fancy. But, the food is great, i mean really good for the price, the service good and they use fresh ingredients! The lady who owns it ( and is about 70) is a real gem! She makes the visit even better.

Beijing noodle house used to ofeer really good value for money dishes. Their noodle dishes are very good and the portion is very generous as well. My favourite is their stir fry hor fun with beef, which is always nicely done. They also have a good selection of rice dishes at affordable prices. I always have their toffee banan dessert as its alawyas good and tempting. its not too heavy and the toffee is sinfully sweet, which goes well with the crispy fried banana. Disadvantage: this place got burned down by a big fire a couple of months ago and is now under renovation. Not sure if they have plans to re-open, which i hope that they do.

Awesome fast, quality food! Visited from NYC and loved the noodles with duck! Cheap, I ordered food to eat in as well as some to heat up afterwards.

I am SO glad this place is back. Same people as last time and the red curry tasted as lovely as it always did. It's so cheap (under £5 for a curry and rice), you get a decent portion, and the service is really fast and friendly. My only small gripe is that the chicken used was obviously cheap but for the price you can't really complain and the food still tasted delicious. Drinks are also cheap at £3 for a pint of Carlsberg and £2.75 for a bottle of Tsing Tao. I always loved this place for good Chinese/Eastern grub and a few drinks without breaking the bank. Will definitely be going back plenty now I know it's there again!
