Undoubtedly the best service by any Indian restaurant in the town. The owner is such a pleasing person. They adapted their dishes to our dietary requirements. The food was yummy. A blend of fantastic service, and tasty food, makes me go there again and again.
Whether eat in our take away, this place is great if you are on a budget but don't want to compromise on taste. Until recently my biggest quibble was that they didn't accept cards. They recently fixed that. Ideal for authentic taste of South Indian food.

Great food. Great staff. Recent changes in the management team has certainly uplifted the taste and the experience of the food in Cafe Madras. A place for excellent north Indian food.
Overall a good place to enjoy Indian food in this part of reading. (There are some other Indian joints in the town area as well). Service here is quick and staff are helpful as well.
Masala Dosa, the main dish of south india. This place knows how to serve it properly on a thali with the various sauces and gravy which accompany it. Definitely a must try if you want to travel to south india on budget.
Good south indian food. Service is good. Ambience is not so great. The owner is a nice lady.
Delicious Street Food of India. There are very few restaurants in UK with quality Indian food and this restaurant gives great aroma of Street Food of India.
Good food and great service. Well recommended. Good selection of northern and southern Indian dishes.
Best Dosa ever, Chaat and Pani Puri :D. Have brought all my family and friends, this is a must! Food is great and everyone is so friendly.
Excellent authentic food, great friendly staff. We visit every couple of weeks and enjoyed every meal I've tried there.
One of the best places to have authentic South Indian food. Loved the Masala Dosa and masala chai.
Good food. It is a café not a restaurant, so it is not cost. Portions are generous and prices reasonable.
You don't need to go to South india to get mouthwatering dosas, Idli vadas. Enjoyed the food hear
