Couldn’t recommend this place enough! The food was incredible and loved the personalised service. The waitress came over with a menu, sat down and asked about our dietary requirements. After we told her we were Vegan she talked through the drinks she recommended and the plant based milk they’d go best with as well as explaining how we could make each meal “Vegan”. We went for the soup with roast vegetables, beetroot lentil “hearty bowl” and the tofu scramble with chickpeas and sourdough which was all amazing! We’ll definitely be back

The best bread and apple cake ever, leave been told to go wheat dairy and sesame free, and Laura at the bakery still delivers the best food. Food makes me happy and the nomad bakery does in a 5* style.

Love love and love this place! The coffee is great and the bread and pastries are absolutely delicious! I try to go every weekend to get my bread provision and an amazing breakfast with real and natural ‘mediaslunas’. Laura is a guru of the artisan and tasty flavors!! :)

Love, love, love this bakery/cafe. I love the vibe, the people, the ethos, the coffee, the food. But what I love the most about this place....the sour dough. Without doubt this place does THE BEST sourdough I have ever had. I'm practically down there every week for a loaf. If only they did a loyalty card for that ;)

The coffee rocks. The bread rules. And they do this cauliflower dish which made me renounce every bad word I've ever said about that particular vegetable. That's how good this place is. Do yourself a favour and get down there.

Real bread!!! Reading has been crying out for real bread for such a long time, lucky Caversham to now have Nomad Bakery. Wonderful food in a very special cute local atmosphere. Laura's Argentinian pastries (especially the orange ones) are worth queuing out the door for

We love Geo Cafe and often make the trip over the river when we’re in Reading. A favourite of mine is the cheese toastie with a blend of cheeses and the magical ingredient of Georgian paste - delicious! The service is always friendly and the atmosphere warm and welcoming with the air of a beloved family venture

Very nice food and pastries. The bread looks great - along with the pastries it’s fresh from the bakery. I ate in and also took away a chicken wrap (very nice and filling) and a pastry.

Amazing little gem! Lovely staff, friendly bustling atmosphere with quiet tables to read a book and have a hot chocolate. The best croissants I’ve ever had. Really recommend the chicken wrap with the plum jam!

We had breakfast few weeks ago. We ordered Eggs, Halloumi and Mushrooms on toast. It is really good and tasty. Particularly the spice mix that came along with the toast made it better than the usual toast. Also we had pistachio croissant which tasted amazing as well.

Popped in for a quick drink after a busy day in Reading. Great service only had a cup of tea but sat in the attractive seating area in the back. Will return soon and hopefully try one of the cakes on offer.

Best cafe in Reading. Staff are so friendly, coffee is delicious, venue is really lovely to hang out in. But the biggest thing is the pastries - fresh every day, unique sourdough flavour, good selection. The local produce and artwork is such a nice touch. Feels like a real heart of the community. Have loved living so close the last 2 years - very sad to be moving away.

***New pictures added*** Back on form with the pastries! :-) Changed from 3 star to 4. Used to be great, during pandemic…using unhomogenised milk and then they got lazy and began using co-op milk. For the prices and the organic misc en scene, they should get back on game. However, pastries are different to the usual ones at other coffee shops and really seem homemade - more bun like rather than fluffy pastry. I would recommend biscuit factory for the best coffee in reading BUT if you are local this is better than gardens and the collective.

My favourite coffee store in Reading! Delicious and fresh medialunas everyday:) My only complaint is the employee that was yesterday Thursday morning. She didn’t do a good service. But I love this place and I will continue visiting it!!

Superb croissants made every morning, fresh and hot. One of the best coffee in town served by friendly and helpful staff. Outdoor seating in the back garden is very nice, quiet and secluded. With their service they make every customer a regular. Love these guys!

A great cafe turned local artisan store, with contact-free, open air, take-out coffee, cakes, fresh daily sourdough bread, pantry supplies & fresh fruit, veg and groceries. Superb & reliable veg and delivery boxes - order online for home delivery. Delicious Khachapuri – Georgian Cheese Bread - made just like I remember. Delicious! A daily must visit in Caversham!

Had a lovely lunch very nice wrap and great ice tea. The only downside is it is not great in the heat. Highly recommend getting it to go and finding somewhere cool to enjoy it.

Only went in for a coffee, but the range of breads and pastries is terrific. They also do evenings and other, themed events. Great service, and although it's small, it has a relaxed, welcoming feel to it. Will return for more than coffee
