Lovely place. Wish Iโ€™d found this before! The little beer garden is perfect for a summer chill out and the inside is full of varied spaces. I love it! Not too expensive on the drinks either!!
Fabulous food and friendly staff. A good selection of alcohol free cider although they had run out on our second visit. You get a discount on the food if youโ€™re staying at the nearby Best Western.
Lovely pub that serves some delicious food. Drinks weren't bad either. Service was friendly and very helpful.
Lovely staff, excellent food (my wife loved her gluten free fish and chips) and a great atmosphere, highly recommend 5*
The food was good, great prices, really good atmosphere. It is being refurbished and the changes seem great. There's also a great range of gins and rums. The pork belly starter was amazing. Also really enjoyed the dressing in the salad. Yum. I will be going back for sure.
Great pub....as you would expect, only reason I don't give 5 stars is because its not Oxford ๐Ÿ˜Š
Nipped in on way to the sizzling spice a few doors away. Nice place friendly staff and although we didn't eat the food looked good and quite a few people were eating which is always a good sign. Next time maybe we will sample the fayre ๐Ÿ˜œ .
Beautiful relaxed venue ! Inside and garden area, Staff were so friendly and helpful, service was fab and food was delicious ! Dog friendly โค๏ธ
Great menu, both drinks and food! Genuinely homemade dishes and lovely staff.
Food and drinks were fantastic. Ordering was a bit confusing if it was order at the bar or full table service etc, it would help if they just chose one and stuck with it! I enjoyed the Thai curry, though the portion sizes on the Asian food were not quite as generous as the English options, so if you
This is our local pub, it's a nice place to chill and have a few beers. The staff are good, as is the atmosphere. I have found the food to be hit and miss, it depends on what meal you order. As an example I personally find the burgers to be dry, poor in comparison with other places but their lasagna
We always enjoy going to the Queens Head! The staff are so attentive, friendly and welcoming. The food is superb and it has a lovely outdoor space.
Such a cool pub. Really chilled out, with brilliant decor. The staff are really friendly and the food ๐Ÿ‘Œ. Great choice of music. One of the better places in Reading.
just had a Xmas lunch for 30 people. Food and service were excellent. We were in the function room in the garden and, given the weather, a little cold when we arrived but it soon warmed up. Food delivered promptly and, even when the party messed up the distribution and the wrong dish was taken by on
I was over for a weekend and found this place very close to where I was staying. I took my daughter for dinner and we had a beautiful meal and a few drinks. It is a clean, well decorated place with a very friendly atmosphere. My daughter is vegetarian and was impressed by the menu. I would definitel
Have been to Queens Head a couple of times now and decided to book whilst we had family visiting. There was 9 of us. Pre ordered food in advance. Bar Man and the waitress on the day were really welcoming and were really accommodating for children too. Thank you
What a lovely pub the staff are friendly and welcoming nice and clean I will be going back
My wife and I dropped in to the QH for a meal before going to the Progress Theatre. We left it late and found the pub buzzing with happy drinkers and diners so asked the staff whether we'd get served in time. They checked with the kitchen and took our order. The food was served in good time and it w
