Went for early lunch so first people in the restaurant (thus 4 stars atmosphere) but was filling up. Had calamari to start then rib eye steak and skinny fries, my wife has the lunch steak with chunky chips, she also ordered a side salad as no salad with her steak and 2 leafs with mine. Had Malbec wine with the meal which was great. Would definitely go back.
My friends and I wanted to try this restaurant after seeing the menu online. We didn't book a table, and we were seated right away. Four of us shared the sampler board and the grill on board. We added the grilled peppers salad. The sharing menu comes with sides, which was plenty of food for everyone. The steak was tender. The servicer was friendly.
Firstly, I would recommend 👌. I've been here a few times now, and I really like it. There is a but, today 12 of us eat and the service was lacking 😑. My order was delivered wrong , given to my colleague. When I pointed this out I was brushed off as if nothing was wrong. It happened with a few people, and we sorted ourselves but this shouldn't be the case.
I'll take my hat off for the server we had which was Diana.
She was brilliant and she put up with all of us being there it was great service from her part.
The food was outstanding. I've never had a rump so tender than that and the chimichurri sauce was divine. The mashed potatoes and the little bit more seasoning but with the added Himalayan salt on the plate it added that final kick of flavour.
Amazing restaurant! First time visiting with my husband for lunch on a week day. No reservation was made. The place was not crowded. Both waitresses we had were super friendly, and the lady gave us great advice regarding the empanadas (we asked for 1 beef and 1 spinach as advised, delicious! Unfortunately, I can't remember her name). Both me and the husband had steak, rump, and rib-eye, and both were perfectly made 👌 and so delicious! Great fries as well. Lovely seating area outside. Will definitely visit again!
Absolutely incredible experience for our Daughter’s 21st… amazing and genuine Argentine ambiance, staff were very attentive and genuine but not overbearing, and most importantly their menu was comprehensive and delicious. We were all meat and fish eaters and had a delightful meal, but did notice that there were vegan/vegetarian options available. A stunning experience as lovers of meat, but I’m sure those who choose not to eat meat will find it equally as memorable. The prices are premium, but for very good reason!
We've enjoyed celebrating my husband's birthday here. The staff were all warm and friendly. The food tastes wonderful and priced reasonably. Highly recommend! 👌🏻

I went here for my birthday. Torn between 3 and 4 stars. I'll stick with 4 because the food is NOT the flaw here.
Food was amazing, the starter did what it's supposed to do, which made us more hungry for our main and not for lack of portion size. It was just a perfect example of quality. The steaks were a little more on the medium side even though we requested medium rare, but they were still good.
The only major complaint I had was that the seating felt too casual.. And the little pods were for 'groups of 4 only' - which on a quiet Sunday afternoon, where NONE had been used, and whilst we were there, none were in use. I'm sure they could have been nice, but they were strict about this rule :/. It made the dining experience feel WAY too casual for a birthday dinner. If it were busy, and not Sunday, I'd understand but being pedantic for the sake of it is a little off putting.
Due to this, for a birthday, we'd probably go somewhere else in the future, drive a little further out for a more intimate dining experience, versus feeling like I'm just sat at Nandos but with nicer tasting food. We'd probably come back for an early dinner on a shopping trip though, but for an occasion is out of the window.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the best steak restaurant in Reading and it was an exceptional experience. The quality of beef was absolutely outstanding - the meat was juicy, tender and bursting with flavor. We tried a tasting board which included four different cuts of steak: rump, sirloin, rib eye, and fillet. Each cut was cooked to medium rare perfection, and the meat was so tender that it practically melted in our mouths.
In addition to the outstanding steaks, the restaurant also boasts a great selection of Argentinean wines that perfectly complemented our meal. The starters and desserts were also excellent, and the service was attentive and friendly throughout.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable steak experience. The quality of the meat is simply exceptional, and the rest of the dining experience is top-notch as well.
The other time I got here for lunch. I started with the beef empanadas which were served with a salsa and a small salad. The empanadas were a good choice, and the accompanying sides were a nice touch.
For my main, I ordered the beef burger which was fabulous. The meat was juicy and had great flavor. I opted to add extra cheese, but the menu only listed Mozzarella cheese for an extra £1. However, the burger came with blue cheese instead (which I didn't mind as I like blue cheese), and on the bill, it was charged at an extra £2. I would recommend asking about the type of cheese you will get, as someone might not like blue cheese and could be disappointed. It would be helpful if the menu was updated to reflect this change, or if the waiter would give a warning in advance. For me, it wasn't a big deal.
I came to visit some friends in Reading (who were visiting from the Middle East), and we randomly chose this restaurant as they wanted to eat steak.
We didn’t have a booking, however we were seated in a lovely spot that was in a somewhat secluded corner behind the bar.
The service was absolutely outstanding, we were served by 3 different women (pretty sure they were all originally from Eastern Europe, just mentioning this so that management know) and they were all extremely kind, courteous and very helpful (we didn’t want to have any side sauces that had alcohol in them).
My friends and I were really taken aback by the amazing customer service; we were really made to feel welcomed and the food was extremely delicious too - we ordered a sharing platter with different cuts and sides (mash potato is very yummy!).
Thank you for such a lovely experience, highly recommend this place!
Went here for a birthday meal and our server Adrian was phenomenal. He was really friendly and helpful, and made the experience so amazing. They even bought our ice cream with a candle after hearing it was my birthday, everybody even wished me a happy birthday as we left the restaurant. The atmosphere and service was beyond amazing, every little detail was clearly thought out and the place was clean.
The food was outstanding, I had the rump with fries and chimmichuri sauce, as well as mushrooms. It was fantastic,
The steak was of amazing quality and was cooked to perfection. Every side was seasoned perfectly aswell.
Overall, cannot wait to come back again!! 5/5 without a doubt
A wonderful experience all round. My friend and I both had steak, my friend enjoying a rump steak and fries from the lunch menu and myself a rib-eye with mash and bernaiase sauce, both cooked to perfection by Guilherme in the kitchen.
The portions were generous and great value for the price.
Our server Brigita was friendly and attentive without being overbearing.
The decor and atmosphere are stylish and comfortable.
Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Reading for the day or longer.
My wife and I ate here for Valentines Day. Steaks were very good: tender and flavourful. Portions are good, and service was timely and friendly. We didn't have reservations, but we're seated in under 5 minutes, with a caveat that we had 90 minutes to dine.
One of my favourite restaurants in Reading and a great Argentinian steakhouse. The steaks are quite tender and tasty. Very good selection of wines. Desserts are delicious, particularly the banoffee pie. See you soon!
I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. We were running late because we couldn't find parking and we were struggling to find it. They were lovely enough to still let us come 30 minutes late. I it is one of the the best steaks I have ever had!!!. My boyfriend got the sirloin and it was absolutely unreal. I had the rump and it unbelievably good! Blue cheese sauce was perfect. It was my boyfriends birthday and the sung happy birthday and brought out ice cream for him without me prompting, all I did was make a note when booking. Such a lovely gesture. I NEED to go back here again soon
Family dinner. Nice atmosphere and great service. Starters were a little underwhelming - but the steaks were excellent. We all went for the 4 steak taster menu. £32 a head but did allow you to try Rump, ribeye, sirloin and fillet. We had a couple of very nice bottles of Malbec (£35 a bottle). It’s not cheap (£300 for 4 of us). But it’s well done and for a special occasion it’s worth it.

The place was very busy when we arrived, but we was met and shown to our tables instantly.
Service was very prompt and very courteous.
Food was really good. Everyone enjoyed themselves and loved their meals.
Not the cheapest of places, but at the same time, not astronomically expensive.
Would definitely recommend.

Wouldnt really bother with the other meats as the sirloin was soo good.

If they offer you olives...ACCEPT them. Best olives I ever had.
The chips and calamari is over rated. Squid itself was good 8/10 but the batter was a solid 2/10.
I heard the chicken was good.
I had dulce de la leches cheese cake, honestly it was average defo not worth the price.
