While in London, we got to check out an awesome, award-winning local pub about 30 minutes outside London. The inside was so lovely, cute, inviting, with a good amount of seating. They have a fully stocked bar at the entrance, offering all sorts of beer and wine, sure to find something that fits your taste buds. The restaurant created a kind of "sample" platter to share, with cheesy scones, cheese, and sausages. They were all so very tasty! Nice beginning to our dinner feast... For appetizer, we had King Scallops & Venison, and Scallops Gruyere Gratinated with Panko Crumb, Dunkin Toast, and Fresh Lemon. Both of them were so amazingly delicious! For main, I chose 6oz Fillet Steak, Scallop, White Crab & Tiger Prawn Gratin. It was just amazing and delicious! the steak was pure perfection! The sauce and jus was awesome! My hubby went with Banham's Chicken Breast, Gruyere Truffle Mac 'n' Cheese. It came with generous amount of chicken, soft and tender. Very filling and satisfying! We were all quite full, but that didn't stop us from getting deserts...we had Sticky Sticky Pudding, and Rhubarb & Custard. It was one of the best sticky puddings I've ever tasted! We had an amazing dinner, everything was exquisite! We enjoyed every bite of every dish. The service was very polite, friendly and accommodating. No wonder they received many awards!

Good local pub on the attractive green at Chapel Row. Excellently located as a stopping off point for walks through Bucklebury Common Very friendly landlord who mixes easily with the regular clientele. The added extra is a nice menu - good for both weekday lunches (see the soups and cheese platters) and for bigger meals. Outside seating at the back for those (too infrequent) sunny days!

It was lovely. It’s a really nice place, with friendly staff. Everything was clean and the atmosphere was peaceful. The food was delicious and looked really nice. We had a set menu (starter, main and dessert) for £25. There were vegetarian options available. I would definitely recommend!

As a party of 6 we had a range of different tastes and orders. Every plate was empty and all agreed how lovely the food was. I had a wonderful gluten free fish and chips. My friends had Sunday Roasts, Cauliflower Cheese and Vegetable Strudel. All fresh, beautifully cooked and generous but not overwhelming. Thank you. We'll be back to try the Snickers dessert!

This place is amazing. Beautiful interior and outstanding food that’s levels above the best gastropubs. We didn’t have a booking but managed to get a table and served quickly. Vegan and vegetarian menus available request and the service is so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend a visit if you’re in the area.

We were treated to lunch at The Bladebone on 4 October. Two of us chose from the three courses for £25 menu and the others went à la carte. A truly excellent meal with beautifully cooked food and excellent service. I even gave the server and extra £10 tip. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful meal on Wednesday 31st May. I chose from the special table d'hote menu. The food was all beautifully prepared and cooked and extremely well presented, worthy of a Michelin 1 star establishment. I was dining on my own but was made to feel both welcome and comfortable at my table. Excellent Dining experience that I do not hesitate in recommending.

This is my favourite pub in the world. The food is perfection - such a great menu that it’s difficult to choose one thing - and the staff are so friendly and lovely. Beautiful setting and very dog friendly.

What a lovely little pub. Greeted warmly at the door. All of the staff were friendly throughout. They seemed pretty close knit as well which is nice to see. They also gave us some hot water to heat a baby bottle up, which I was grateful for. The decor was beautiful. The country style and the log burning fireplaces really gave it a nice aesthetic and feel. Creating a decent atmosphere. The food was just amazing! I am still thinking about it now 3 weeks later! My favourite of all the dishes was the lemon cheesecake. Definitely making the drive to come back
