This restaurant has to be one of my absolute favourite restaurants. I have been both to the Marlow and Reading Branches. Yesterday, I went to the one in Reading to celebrate my mum’s birthday. I ordered my most favourite starter and main course which is always spot on. Scotch Eggs to start and then Scampi and Chips for main which are both to die for and I was in absolute heaven last night especially after losing over 2st so the meal was so well worth the wait. At one point throughout the evening, I asked a male member of staff where the ladies was and if he could guide me (I didn’t make it known that I was visually impaired) but bless him, he got his arm out so I could hold on to him and he guided me to the disabled toilets. He was so lovely and I felt so comfortable with him. So, please let him know this Reading staff as he was a real sweetie, such a gentleman. He had a little chat with me as he was guiding me to the toilets and he said he had recognised me from before. He had black hair, glasses and a little beard I think. Anyway, please get that message across to him. Top food and top staff. Ohh and the live music was amazing too. I will definitely be returning again and again ��
Absolutely golden service by all staff as well as beautiful food and cocktails. We had one slight mishap but staff were on it straight away and it didn't affect us in a bad way and they were very accommodating giving us a drink and being very professional with dealing with it. Can not fault them at all. They even have an amazing vibe between them as staff which you can see and allows you as a customer to feel happier. There wasn't any negatives to say. Golden staff, amazing food and cocktails and a lovely, happy, warm and positive vibe throughout the restaurant. Will definitely visit again. Thank you. Loved it!!
What an amazing place! We went here yesterday for cocktails, highly recommend the Thai basil and plum mojito! Beautiful atmosphere with cool branches and flowers everywhere. Lovely staff, a really friendly bunch and rapid service. They also sell pitchers of cocktails in a watering can, do a bit different from the norm! Didn’t have any food, but the things I saw coming out of the kitchen looked delightful. We will definitely be coming back. This place is a little diamond, we loved it. 5 stars! 👍
We went to this restaurant on Wednesday last for dinner with our two kids. I have to say it is definitely one of the nicest restaurants we have eaten in. I would totally recommend people to eat in these restaurants.
Had a lovely meal there last night with a fast service. We were told by the waiter that they recently changed the chef and it shows with the increased quality in food.
Will definitely be coming back again.

We visited tonight around 6pm after finishing our Christmas shopping. There were no tables left in restaurant but we were told we if we could find a table in the bar area we could still eat. Luckily we found one. We ordered our drinks and food and the food came promptly. However we did have a slight issue with one of the meals so alerted a member of staff. They apologised and took the meal away to get a replacement. The same member of staff came back to say another meal was being prepared and apologised again. We were offered some drinks at this time too. Another member of staff bought out the replacement meal and apologised again and explained what had happened. All in all every member of staff we dealt with was polite and friendly and the whole place had a great vibe. After the initial hiccup, the food was fantastic too, and of course the cocktails were fabulous too. Super first class service by you all. A real joy to get such great service. Thank you very much. We look forward to a return visit.
Me and my husband were bought a voucher so thought we’d book a table for food and cocktails for our wedding anniversary. The food was amazing and well presented. The whole service was faultless and a special mention must go to Vicki, who was our waitress. She answered all our questions, was very efficient and provided a service with a smile. The live singer was also very good and not over the top. Will definitely be coming back again.

Amazing evening at the Botanist for my husband’s 40th birthday. They went above and beyond to make it an amazing evening. Service was the best we have had in a restaurant for a long time. Food was amazing. Will definitely be returning in the future.
Great place for a meal and drinks with friends. Food is great, the hanging kebabs are an interesting twist and super tasty too. Their own twist of classic cocktails and their own creations are great too, and desserts... oh wow!
I love that the menu is not too long so one is not overwhelmed by choice, and all choices are amazing to be honest.

Went on a Friday night. Service was quick but most tables were reserved so we had to sit at the bar. Cocktails were very pretty and extremely tasty. Prices are what you would expect. Nice place for one or two drinks.
Not what we expected. Thought it would be more of a brasserie. But the style is more rural, as you can see from the pictures. Also, the food is mostly Turkish inspired, kebabs and flatbreads. Again, unexpected.
Overall, it was fine, though. The service was good.
Love this place!! Really nice drinks - Maddie is such an excellent bartender + Mickey is an angel - amazing customer service! Will definitely come back again :)

We had an absolutely fantastic evening, the bar staff couldn’t have looked after us more, the band was brilliant. My friends and I had such a fun evening singing and dancing that two days later I still have no voice. I’m not sure it’s a dancing venue but the band was so good we did anyway 😂.
We’ll definitely be returning. A special thanks to the lovely guy on the bar who’d done a double shift with the football on who was smashing and really looked after us all. He deserves a pay rise.
Had lunch with another couple on a Wednesday. Service was very good as was the food. Been here a few times and it never fails. Such a feel good place. Well done. Two.of us had the pork hanging kebab, what a good choice and our barstaff man said we could have our choice of dripping sauce. Perfect.
Me and a few friends went out for dinner here and had a really lovely time. Our waiter, Alex, was fantastic. Very informative about the menu, knew what to recommend and was so friendly and full of laughter, everything you want when dining out! The food was lovely, drinks even better. Wasn’t my first visit and definitely not my last
We were shown to our tables by a lovely waiter and he let us know the specials from the menu. Lovely food, drinks and atmosphere and service. The sticky toffee pudding and the peaches and cream cookie dough were our highlights for me and my sister in law. Overall great experience and we will be returning soon.
Amaaazing brunch with a great concept and unique vegan options! Loved getting the chance to taste a little bit of everything with the brunch menu. The interiors are very cool. Highly recommend.
Had the chicken kebab with garlic oil, amazing dish. Staff member who served us was really polite too. Really enjoyed the food
