My husband & I had never experienced Pho Vietnamese restaurant before but decided to go for a Saturday lunch there. We found the staff very helpful & friendly & we were not seated too close to other people. I had a delicious lemonade & green tea spritzer & my husband had a Saigon beer which he said was very taster. We ordered 2 starters & we tried each other's, a yummy starter of prawn balls with peanut sauce & I had an unusual & very tasty starter which was the combination of a spring roll/wrap/dim sum (which was amazing with the mint & coriander I believe in it). My husband ordered a lovely chicken curry which he said enthusiastically was the best he's had in a very long time! I had an amazing dish which I can't recall the name of it, but the dish had an abundance of very large prawns with noodles, herbs, peanuts, mint & fresh salad underneath! It was like a mystery tore around the bowl not knowing what food & flavours I was going to experience next. We shared a dessert of different flavour ice creams..honey & ginger/ strawberry & basil. Finishing off with an iced coffee & a Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. Btw an added bonus was the place was air conditioned! Will DEFINATELY go again.

Takeaway ordered and collected. Food was fresh and hot. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the service was quick but just enough time to grab a beer while I waited for the food

We were excited to finally have Pho in Reading. The food was amazing & the Vietnamese coffee was exactly what we had hoped for. It was easy to pick the experienced staff from the new recruits but to be expected in a new place. Our 5 year old enjoyed his food as well.

Being half Burmese couldn't wait to try this place went as a 3 table one had been on the opening week and wasn't too impressed it's Vietnamese food those sauces are on your table for a reason as that's how it's served u r supposed to add to your liking so u can adapt your delicious pho to how u want it to taste def a little fish sauce to add salt and me personally a little chilli oil rather than the sauce I add the sauce to my side to dip my meatballs in it was amazing especially the morning glory what I call fried Kailon only ever eaten it in Malaysia all in all now my gf know how to do it they loved it and service was great well done will def be back soon it is a loud restaurant so if I was bringing my 83 yr old dad I know he would love it but if it were a little quieter so will pick a time for him see u soon guys great job xx

Our first visit. In short, if you like Waggs, you are likely to rate Pho as good as, or way better. Recommended.

Big portions its worth the money you pay for. Hopefully they will keep it that way in the long run and throughout their business. Taste good too.

We had a lovely meal here on a quiet Monday night. We both had Pho and I had a lovely unfurling green tea. Also tried the Pandan Waffle which was delightful. Great vegetarian and vegan options with the 'this is not' chicken. It wasn't so like chicken that you think you've got the wrong meal, and I'm guessing it's a soy-based protein. Service was great and food was quick to arrive.

I had the most delightful lunch experience at this restaurant! The food was simply outstanding, especially the prawn and beef brisket curry, which was a burst of incredible flavors. But what truly made the lunch exceptional was the impeccable service provided by our waitress, Kate. She went above and beyond to make our meal enjoyable, and her warm and attentive attitude deserves recognition, maybe even a pay raise! A memorable afternoon, thanks to both the delicious cuisine and Kate's exceptional service.

So glad we found this restaurant in Reading, amazing service from our waitress who was very helpful and gave advice. We chose the chicken wings and Pork balls for starters. The wings were coated and had a spicy chilli dip, the balls tasted of lemongrass. For the mains we had Pho House soup and Curry brisket both very tasty. Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely place in town for a nice lunch/dinner, prices were definitely worth it given the size and quality of the food. Definitely recommend their vermicelli Bun noodles and the Pho. The atmosphere is just immaculate, such a vibe!

the wings were really well seasoned, absolutely recommended. The rice dish was alright but the spicy peppers dried up the rice so it’s was chewy. We ordered the classic mojito. Loved it. Not too sweet as well. staff were nice. Brought out everything on time. Overall the only issue was the appearance of the restaurant. The wooden theme looked the like the wood was decaying. The sauces being left out in the table is unhygienic as there were flies around the restaurant.

We visited this for lunch pre-Christmas and the restaurant was quite busy even though we turned up after 2PM. Luckily they had a table for 2 and we didn't need to wait. My wife visited this with her office colleagues so she chose for us. We got the deep fried veggie spring rolls (served with sweet peanut dipping sauce) as starters and the tofu curry with rice as the mains. We also ordered one of the fresh juices but it was so heavy on the ginger that it didn't taste good nor could we make out any other flavours. I would avoid this in the future or ask for it without the ginger if I ever visit again. The tofu curry was mild and seemed to have lots of peanut. As a vegetarian, this seemed not much different to Thai food. Prices were on par with any high street working out to about £20 per person (we were sharing the starters and the juice). I didn't dislike the food nor service but don't see any reason to go there again.

Went with my mum, dad and girlfriend and food was great although the service could have been a little bit better. Had to ask for a glass of water 3 times until they finally brought it.

Really nice food, full of flavour and textures, great choice maybe too much. Waitress explained food clearly. Almost 5* but were cramped on a table with 6, and more knowledge of drinks from staff would have been a better help.

Always one of my go to places. Nice big restaurant with a wide selection of affordable delicious food. On this occasion I had the broken rice which was really good with the prawn crackers. Nice central location. As always the food was tasty.

The food is good but a bit over-priced since it's a chain restaurant. The ingredients for the pho are fresh and the soup is good but not as rich as other smaller shops. I love Vietnamese food but if I had to choose between a smaller restaurant and this I'd go with the other one probably. The time I visitted was also very full but overall good.
