Wow - what an experience! These guys understand excellent service. Came for the bottomless brunch at the Reading branch for my birthday and was blown away with the amazing customer service, excellent food and just generally making my whole day unforgettable. Tomas and Holly were just the best servers ever. The whole team are warm, welcoming and bend over backwards to make your visit. Made me feel super special and ensured I had the best day, nothing was too much. I really cannot thank them enough for everything they did. Even the special extras for me and my group, not expected and really made the difference between good service & excellent service. Highly recommend to everyone and anyone and I’ll definitely be back - a lot! Thank you for making my birthday the best day ever �

The staff actually enjoy the job and want to serve you. Haven't seen that in ages.
The dj even showed my kids the decks etc.
The bar staff made my kids feel all grown up at the bar even asking what they had been doing all day.
The shakes were great.
The music wasn't to loud.
Bit pricey but the atmosphere made up for that.

We came here for the first time on 10/04/18 for a meal and cocktails when we first entered we were welcomed by the manager! You could see they had a big party of travellers which were having a few beers rowdy but at the point harmless everyone just there to have a good time! We sat down near them and it was fine we had a lovely lady waitress with pink hair I believe nothing was an issue for her and she helped us choose our drinks! We ordered service was very quick and was one of the best burgers I have had! While we were eating the rowdy party turned nasty and I just felt for all the staff they were uncontrollable the manager handled this situation very well! Eventually they left without paying of course! The manager came over to us to apologise and thank us for being so patient being from retail we understood him and would not let it put a downer on this great restaurant! The manager paid our bill for us which we did not expect it was not his or his staffs fault we were very grateful for this we gave him and his staff a tip to go out for drinks after the horrible evening they had!! Keep being great and don’t let horrible customers put you guys down! We will def be back soon! X

I am blown away with the wonderful staff and service at Honest Burger!
I fell over (silly flip flops) on the pavement outside the restaurant. Within seconds the staff were at my side, with a first aid kit, offering support and selfless hospitality.
I recommend falling outside this venue!!! Thank you Team Honest Burger for making my painful knee, a brighter experience.
I went yesterday as it marked the anniversary of an unpleasant incident and had decided I was going to treat myself. I particularly liked that they brought me samples of the ales on offer so I could decide properly which to have. I went for the full Honest, which has proper Cheddar and not the processed cheese and smoked bacon. It came in a rather splendid looking bun and the accompanying chips were very nice indeed. The potatoes had been scrubbed rather than peeled and this certainly, for me, added to their appeal. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the service excellent.
The one thing that set this above the rest of the burger restaurants we have been to was the service. Although the selection is small, both burger types were very tasty and the “skin chips” were very nice. The friendly staff made the experience in my opinion. Would go back again purely for the ambient setting and the attention to customer service :)

My wife and I loved our first experience at honest burgers in Reading. The brunch breakfast was great, service and quality fantastic..had a good afternoon drinking. 90mins unlimited alcohol meant we had plently of time to relax and eat without being rushed. We even went to the bar to finish off what we didnt drink.. fab afternoon. Recommend.
Went for a works do and was thoroughly looked after, would highly recommend an evening here. Good food, good drinks and a nice atmosphere

We were welcomed on a horrid rainy day by happy, smiley, chatty staff.
We ate the most Delicious burgers and chips - the kids were blown away!
Myself and my daughter are coeliac and near enough the whole menu is Gluten Free.
Will most definitely return!

Popped in tonight. The place was packed but was quickly sat at a table. Great burger (the Reading) I found the chips a little too salty but still good. Could taste the rosemary :) I ordered a side which didn't turn up but the manager did a excellent job making it right. Will be back. Good selection of drinks. Chocolate milkshake filling! There are many burger restaurants to choose from and I think I've probably been to most. Of them all, I can confidently say this was the best. The menu is simple and I find that a refreshing change to some places. The food was fresh, well prepared and tasty. The portions were just about right too. They make a point to promote local beers, which is something I am a strong supporter of. They were very busy today and relied on just two servers so service wasn't the quickest but that's not a criticism of the servers themselves as they were on point and did the best they could. I would strongly suggest trying the gravy as it was heavenly. I'll be coming again for sure.
Came here for lunch today. They have great gluten free options. We had a smash burger and a normal thicker burger. Neither of us were blown away by the burgers we had - the meat was great but the toppings together just didn't really taste that brilliant. The burgers were went for were specials rather than standard, so maybe that's why?
The onion rings were incredible though. Staff were really friendly. They have board games there too.
Absolutely delicious food and amazing service. Waitress was great in helping both me and my friend decide what to get. The food arrived promptly and was piping hot. All cooked to perfection. I am a sweet over savoury person, but Honest Burger holds a special place in my heard. The rosemary sea salt chips and incomparable to any other chip - they are like the best chip you have ever eaten crossed with the best roast potato you have ever eaten. I get the plant burger. which is also incredible (when using Beyond meat, this is expected!). I also switched the vegan cheese for American cheese this time (I am vegetarian, not vegan) which I think I preferred! Highly recommend Honest Burger if you want to mega level up your Burger and Fries game (ps. they also do Blue Light discounts every day of the week!)
Visited Honest Burgers Reading with my wife in Friday lunchtime. My wife has an allergy and the guy managing the floor could not have been more thorough. Easily the best experience we have had regarding attention to making sure that the allergen was not in the food. We enjoyed our burgers and drinks. Service was good. We would come back again.

Disabled toilet facilities were absolutely fantastic.
Food was delicious
There are four or five steps to get in so not wheelchair accessible at the main entrance. However there is accessible entrance at the back and and side.
Great burger and even better chips. Just the right amount of rosemary salt.
It's great to be able to get a decent gluten-free bun at Honest Burger.
The inside is slightly noisy, as there are so many hard surfaces, but it's still quite a nice place to eat.
today's service (by Kuw) was exceptional. the fries were fried to order with that additional crisp while the bacon in my smashed burger was spot on crispy as well. my best burger so far
The food was good, as was the service but the music was way too loud for us and the booth fixed seating wasn't very comfy - to be fair, there were other tables with normal chairs, but we didn't want to sit right in the middle.
I'm happy to admit these issues are more preference on our part rather than the place itself.
The best burger I have eaten, wow… Shane, Huw and the rest of the staff were so helpful, only popped in for a drink but so glad I did. If you are in the area I would highly recommend visiting
The burgers were very good, rosemary fries good too. Husband did enjoy the IPA too. Good service, the waitress was very friendly and quick. Nice place to enjoy as a couple. We will definitely go back for dinner again.
