We came for breakfast on Saturday 29th April. 2 coeliacs, 1 dairy allergy and 2 ‘muggles’ 🤣 so many options, I had the gf breakfast (sausage replaced with extra hash browns) which was so tasty! My coeliac daughter had the gf pancakes and said they were better than the ones I make!!! So impressd, it’s one of our favourite places to eat ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Visited for the first time last Sunday. Lovely cafe - cozy and quirky with nice vibe. Easy to park. We sat upstairs which we really liked and enjoyed looking at the same craft things for sale hanging on the walls. We ordered a Brie and cranberry sandwich and a Brie, Bacon and cranberry sandwich and asked for both without butter. There was quite a wait (which we didn’t mind) but both arrived with butter. Staff immediately apologised when we pointed this out and quickly brought us another sandwich each and complimentary drink. All staff were friendly . Sandwiches were lovely with lots of filling and homemade slaw very nice and not sickly creamy. We’ll be back.

We booked in a group of 40 into the tea rooms a few months ago and upon arrival yesterday the service, coffee and food were top class. Thanks to all at Sconch for making our visit excellent. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

What a great place! I chose the Sconch tearooms at Blake House Craft Centre, to meet up with family from from different locations, as it was central for all to get to. What an amazing find!! We were met by super friendly staff, who looked after so well. The afternoon tea was not only plentiful, but really delicious! 😋 We were many ages, from 8 - 80, but there was something for all! The craft shop kept the younger members entertained, whilst the older generation chatted, over lots of tea! Only downside was that it rained, and we didn't get chance to explore the rest of the building on the site!!! We will definitely be visiting again!

Lots of choice on Brunch menu, brilliant service. We sat outside but under the covered area, there are plenty of seats out in the sun also. Went with our three year old. Amazing quality food as always and great value for money. Plenty of parking and beautiful peaceful location. Would always highly recommend!

I love going here with my family on the weekend. From a hearty and tasty breakfast, to delicious cakes and drinks. I always look forward to my traditional earl grey. Plus you can enjoy the local shops too!

Quality over quantity. I must say the food here is particularly nice. I judge a breakfast by the sasauge and these are propa decent. Egg cooked to perfection. Sourdough toast just finished it off. I'll definitely be eating here again....

Treated my mum (and myself, obviously) to afternoon tea as I don’t get to see her very often. We sat outside in one of the "booths" and were given a glass of iced water while we waited for our tea - perfect on a hot day! The pot of tea was lovely- loose leaves with a strainer, the proper way! Waited a little while for the food, but it was worth the wait - lovely presentation, a nice selection of chunky sandwiches (no thin, white, cucumber sandwiches curling at the edges in sight!), the best crumbly fruit scones with Tiptree jam (of course) and clotted cream, and a nice mix of chocolate brownies, carrot, banana and Victoria sponge cakes. Didn't quite manage to eat it all, but we were offered a box to take the rest home with us to enjoy later. Would definitely recommend it, and will be booking again sometime!
