Michelle and staff so friendly and welcoming we love going. Food is really lovely, especially the chef's beef stew and dumplings.
Lovely cheese burger and chips . My mum had the full English breakfast and was also yummy . Definitely will be back and good value for money
Visited with my girlfriend earlier for lunch food was amazing was seen to quickly by Michelle who made sure we were both OK and took our order. Food came out not long had a really nice atmosphere Will be definitely coming back again
Just wanted to review your breakfast with Santa - brilliant. Not only was the food gorgeous but Santa was fab and the pressies were so perfect, carefully thought out and such good quality. 100% recommend this for next year. Michelle was so helpful as always and makes such a fuss of the children. Will be popping by soon for a cuppa for sure. Happy new year xxx
Have eaten here for lunch on numerous occasions and Sunday roast also now and have found that the food and service is always of a very high standard. Always look forward to my next visit.

We made a last minute booking for Sunday lunch here today for 12 people. Had such a lovely time. Yummy food, piping hot, very tasty and really reasonably priced too. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Thank you guys, my Aunt had a lovely time today celebrating her 70th. We really appreciate all the trouble you went to to make such a great lunch for us all. X
Had a lovely jacket potato with tuna and a massive slice of carrot cake at the weekend. :). Lovely food, everybody gotta go and try it out :) x
Fantastic food with a friendly atmosphere.
A bit of everything but mostly decorative items. Loads of quirky home deco stuff, a small plant section, and a good selection of pots and planters. They've got some garden furniture as well. There's a restaurant too but I haven't visited.
This is definitely a place to pop into if you need a gift or something to put on that empty windowsill in your study to look interesting.
Amazing selection of gifts, nick nacks and other goodies. The food is really nice and reasonably priced and the garden centre has everything you could want for. My only small complaint is that some things are a little over priced. However don't be put off it's a terrific place to visit.

The View is nicely set out garden centre. Medium to highly priced plants but plants are well maintained and good quality.
Gift shop has recently expanded and has a great selection of all kinds of stock. Lots of different, unusual, quirky items for home and garden. Not cheap but quality is good and excellent for present buying.
Cafe is good, you order from till but food brought to you. Simple menu but freshly cooked and prepared and sufficient choice. Not huge gluten or vegetarian options but there is availability ie jacket potatoe.
Accessibility good but toilets are the furthest point possible and nowhere near cafe so if you have mobility issues, allow time to get to toilet!
Wide aisles, and reasonable shelf heights for most items
Be aware though, there is minimal signage for exit and you cannot go out of the entrance so it is misleading. You head for entrance assuming exit, then have to double back and go a longer route for exit. Fine if you are mobile but a real irritant if you have a wheelchair or limited mobility. We passed this onto a very disinterested staff member who didn't even listen but mentioned a 2nd time to the lady who served us who did listen and said she would pass on. We will see.
So worth a visit but just check where Exit is when u get there so u avoid time wasting when leaving.
Nice refurb. Car park is now a little small for peek times.
This shop has some lovely items but they come at a cost, however, comparing the price of a 2.7m parasol that we bought, they weren't the cheapest, but a long way from being the most expensive. View's price = £95. Robert Dias = £149.
I just hope the price reflects the durability and longevity of the product and the manufacturer hasn't done a Dyson on us.
Outside temperature was about 21°C and the shop was at a pleasant temperature, even under the covered "outdoor" area.
There seems to be a shortage of staff (especially for a Sunday), however, the lady that served us at the checkout was polite and friendly.
An unusual garden centre in that the prices are reasonable, staff are friendly and helpful with a great variety of goods on sale. I bought a very reasonably priced shed there today, but there are prices for all pockets.
I hadn't been to View Garden Centre for a while so i was very surprised to see the alterations they have done it looks really nice & spacious now.. friendly & helpful staff as well..very pleasant visit & will certainly go back when my sister comes to stay with me & visit the restaurant 😀
A smaller garden center than these local to it though ample selection of stock at fair prices, also a selection of independent little shops from the fruit an veg shop as you pull in to the quirky little craft village to the rear of the center all of which seem very friendly and helpful selling various hand crafted products for you home or a truly unique gift, though I did notice they had various opening hours.
Noticed a small café as well, all in all well worth a visit for the variety of different things available throughout the whole center.

Always Excellent service, staff are really friendly and have a great selection of plants, Garden Furniture and home accessories. Especially pleased with the plants and furniture we purchased there this year. It’s made lock down just that little bit more bareable. Thank you.
My go to now for gifts! Being in Rayleigh, this garden centre is really handy if you need a special gift at short notice / after work. Huge plant selection too! I'm yet to try the cafe...

The Garden centre has some lovely garden items too & the cafe is reasonably priced with good portions.
Had just what we were looking for and Local. Yet to try cafe hut looked inviting l. Craft village also, so good reasons to return.
Great place to visit. Looking forward to going back again soon.
Just a lovely place for some garden furniture and Christmas goods tea rooms for lunch is nice scones are the best
