Visited with my Son which is always a special occasion and the staff done nothing but enhance our visit. Our server Anna was brilliant, so polite, genuine and very relaxed but perfect in her ability to make our visit as comfortable as it could be. Really nice, thank you.
I'll keep it as brief as possible. 7 pm on a Thursday evening and it was really busy, the mark of a good restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, piping hot and really nice, polite, friendly staff who came across as genuinely interested in making sure everything was OK. All nice and clean and tables cleared promptly as other customers left. Bi fold doors onto an external terrace if you fancy eating outside. We will definitely return and would also recommend this place to friends and family. We found a vouchercloud deal which gave us 30% off the bill so it's worth checking if you are dining here, our total bill was Β£46 for 3 courses and drinks....brilliant. Please see my photos. Good service, nice food, hard services creates a an environment where sounds bounces around the restaurant. Or to out it a other way someone could drip a knife at one end of the restaurant and all would be able to hear. Just a personal preference to have less collective noise.
Had a great meal on a Sunday afternoon.

If I could gripe about anything, no hot spicy dishes on offer - So would like to see a little more variation added to the menu.

I can not praise this restaurant highly enough. We were seated straight away, drinks orders taken, food orders taken, and everything was so beautifully prepared, presented, and brought to us in a timely fashion. We had a vegetarian and a nut allergy, and these dietry requirements were well considered and catered for.
However, this is a review with a difference.... one young person serving was really something a bit special. Unknown to her, 4 days ago, we had a very significant family bereavement. We didn't say anything to the staff as we are private people and just wanted to have some normality but one of the servers must have picked up on something as at the end of our meal, she came over with some handmade necklaces with crystals that she herself had made and gave one each to my partners teenage daughters. She allowed them to pick the crystal that most resonated with them.
This gesture was one of the kindest, most thoughtful, serendipitous moments, and honestly, she will never realise what her kindness in that moment meant. Her name began with an "A" she had multicoloured hair in bunches and had a compassionate and wholesome nature. Honestly, I say this with all sincerity, protect this person at all costs as she has the most precious soul.
Blessed be, your kindness won't be forgotten.
Went early evening today and staff were lovely and friendly, attentive and kind. And the food was good. However I wish I could say something positive about the manage. He came across as aggressive in his manner towards his staff team (it was subtle but I was very aware). I can imagine there is a high turnover of staff if this is how he treats them.
The food was OK but a little stodgy and the pasta stuck together as if it had been re-heated (this was a weekday lunchtime visit).
Service was very attentive and using the Meerkat 2 for 1 offer excellent value. If I did not have the 2 for 1 offer I would not return to pay full price.
Popped in for an early lunch with my son. We were seated straight away. And had a very attentive server - who was friendly and chatty. Our food came out hot and promptly which was great as we were in a bit of a rush. Lovely atmosphere. Would recommend & we will return π
A cosy restaurant with lots of options. Can get a little noisy due to tiled floor, but service is great and creates an atmosphere.
