What a lovely surprise! I was out of area today, and walked into a pub I haven't been in for near 30 years. It was gorgeous, beautifully decorated, easy on the eye, very comfortable seating areas, booths etc. Open fire, very clean, excellent service. Very very welcoming, can't wait to return!
Lovely pub with a great atmosphere and nice selection of drinks. The bar staff are all a friendly bunch and lovely food at good prices. Can highly recommend the burgers. Nice thin patties and you get two of them in the bun.
Haven't been in this pub / restaurant for a good 12 years..
Called in with my eldest son for a sit down and a couple of drinks...
WOW JUST WOW.. what a fantastic clean and friendly place.. superb atmosphere and when I walked into the garden for a cigarette it just carried on amazing me.. absolutely stunning undercover seating including cabanas you can reserve for small occasions.. (and obviously bigger area's for larger occasions).
Can't recommend it enough, we didn't eat but the food looked very very niceš.
It's good to see a pub making an effort and if you drive an EV they have a row of chargers in the car park..
Management should be very proud.
Had fish and chips. The chips were like warm, fish had more batter than fish, the others in our party had hunters chicken, said it could have done with being cooked for longer. We love the pub, but won't go back for an evening meal. š
My partner and myself have visited the Paul Pry three times in the last couple of months. The pub is decorated lovely with different areas to eat. The outside area is lovely too with plenty of tables and chairs. Each time we ate there the food was very good and brought up quickly and the staff were lovely. A really nice pub. We will be back. š
Very good food, there was 4 of us and we all had a seniors meal & dessert. The prices are very good. We will definitely go back.
We held our wedding reception here on Tuesday 31st May . Cheryl and the team put on a fantastic spread . Everyone commented on how lovely the food was . Cheryl decorated the conservatory area for us , even getting new helium balloons for us when ours failed !! We had a fantastic day and couldnāt have wished for a more perfect location to celebrate . Thanks guys.
Staff pleasant and friendly, we asked for a table by the door and with easy access, where we were seated was perfect. Food excellent and service was quick. Nice atmosphere, most enjoyable experience.
Went for lunch, nice areas outside, staff were really friendly. Food was fresh and with the deals represents great value without compromise on quality. The small plate deal , 3 for Ā£14, is great š.
Went here for Sunday lunch with my partner and young son. Very welcoming atmosphere, food was fantastic and a great price also. Genuinely a lovely little find and will absolutely be returning.

Had a good few drinks in the bar. Garden was packed but most order via the app so you can get a drink nice and quick at the bar. Good atmosphere. Decorated nicely. Good service. Nice beer.

We held my wifeās 50th Birthday at the Paul Pry based on the great reviews and wasnāt disappointed! Rob, Sheril and team were exceptional from the start, with nothing too much trouble. We booked well in advance for 60 - 70 guests with food and drink on a Saturday night, which we thought would be a problem, but far from it. We were given a large area facing the bar cordoned off specifically for our use, which was well monitored by staff and especially Rob, who was just amazing. We also had part of the car park divided off for a gaming bus for the children who throughly enjoyed the experience, giving parents time and space to eat and drink without being pestered.
We went for the food platters, which were fresh, well presented and very tasty for a very reasonable price, which everyone commented on, saying how lovely they were! We did a voucher system for paying for drinks, which the bar staff were brilliant with. The music choices were spot on and the ambiance overall was fantastic. I highly recommend the Paul Pry for your function or event so donāt be put off by the pub personaā¦ā¦ā¦..Great venue, superb staff, fantastic food and management that truly care you have the best time possible. Thank you so much for making my wifeās birthday so very special. Happy wife, happy life :-)

Been past here many times but this was the first time I'd been inside. What a great pub, lovely inside with great food, staff and atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back!
Had a really cracking night out, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Nachos with pulled pork are unreal. Cider choices are delicious, recommend the spiced plum.
I am gluten-free ( not by choice)& vegetarian, fab meal.. but would like to see more vegetarian on the gf menu.
There was a group of us 8 7 of us were happy but one lady did not get her dessert and after lots of coming and going staff said she had not paid for a dessert and had to pay another Ā£1 it was a seniors menu which is Ā£6-99for 2courses and she had a small glass of wine and the lady did not know the price of the wine so just thought everything was ok after the dispute she got her dessert but it would have been so much nicer if it was agreed a mistake had been made and on this occasion no extra charge would be made it spoilt our meeting we will be coming back in September and hope normal service will be resumed.
