What a lovely place. Came on Friday for a long overdue meal with friends. The service was great. The lady who showed us our table and took our orders was polite and and very friendly. The food came quick and was delicious. We ordered from the tapas menu and can't fault it. We had a lovely meal and would recommend. We will be back I'm sure.
If you haven’t been to Mexx yet, it’s a must! Amazing array of authentic Mexican food on the menu accompanied by the longest list of tequilas on the drinks menue I’ve ever seen (promise I didn’t try them ALL!) The atmosphere is cosy and relaxed, with friendly attentive staff on had (I didn’t have to get up to the bar for a drink once) & to top the whole experience off were the sombreros 😃 I’d absolutely reccomend: the nachos, Hallumi fries & burritos 🌯🌮🍴🍹
Absolutely fantastic service and food for a party booked upstairs catering more than 30 people. The staff couldn't do enough to ensure everyone was happy, even offering to cook extra meals for whinging kids! Would highly recommend and would like to thank all the staff for all their hard work and hospitality!
We had our daughters 21st Birthday Party at Mexx Cantina and have to say it was a brilliant evening. Mark and his staff were wonderful and everybody commented on how delicious the food was. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Just wanted to say a massive thanks to Mark and all the staff. We had our daughters 16th birthday here last night and the service we received was amazing, right from the very 1st call I made to book the room untill we left, all the staff were friendly helpfull and very accommodating. The food was amazing!! And just kept coming, there was over 30 in our party and everyone had a fab night and all had more than enough to eat.
Thanks again, we will definitely be coming back!!

I was there yesterday for a family party. Having been told how much the catering cost I was, genuinely, dumbfounded. Needless to say I will be using Mexx for a party of my own in future. The food was amazing and all the staff were helpful, pleasant and hard working.
We've never been for just a meal before but that will change too. If I could have awarded 6 stars I would have. It's a great place and I can't wait to return and it WILL be soon!!!

I've now been to this restaurant and absolutely loved it. The food was great and reasonably priced. Fantastic atmosphere and very friendly staff. If it was open at 9am, I'd be there for breakfast too!!

Had a great time! 20 or so of us went last night, a school Mums get together... Sangria was fab, just what we all needed! The tapas were all yummy, really enjoyed it - we'll definitely be back!!

Service was good and friendly. Food was delicious. Great selection of drinks. It was a little quiet but I think this place will become more popular via word of mouth, if it hadn't already! Oh, and the sombreros are a lovely touch!

Really enjoyed Sunday buffet with the family, great for kids . Not a lot of choice but what was there was really yummy, great price will definitely recommend to everyone.
