What a lovely restaurant, had read lots of reviews but never been...well now we have and I'm sure we will be back.
Lovely friendly service, a really good menu with lots of choice, fab cocktail menu and the food is delicious.
We hadn't been to this restaurant for some time so thought we would visit again particularly as my wife had a reasonable gluten free choice on the menu. It was a Thursday evening which is "date night" when a 3 courses for one price menu is available so probably a bit busier than a normal midweek evening. The two young ladies looking after the tables took our drinks and food order pretty promptly and checked regularly if we needed any top ups. Before the first course arrived one of them returned to double check they had the gluten free order corrrect which was reassuring. There was a bit of a wait before the first and second course but the food is excellent, so clearly the kitchen is taking the time to get everything right. The presentation and taste was worth the wait and if you want fast food there's a McDonald's right across the road.
After doing some research before visiting the Fire Pit Restaurant, I was not left disappointed and would recommend this restaurant to people.
I made a special trip to Rawtenstall and Rossendale as it had been 2 years since I lost my mum, who passed away in the area - this was because I was impressed with Rossendale the couple of times I had to visit (I live in Wigan).
I thought the menu was good and attracted me to visit the restaurant. I had beer-battered fish and chips, and I also had sticky toffee pudding with custard. Including the 2 Coca Cola Zeros, it was good value for money at just under £35.00.
The customer service was very good as they are friendly approachable staff and was a comfortable atmosphere. The place is also easily accessible from Rawtenstall town centre.
I am hoping to visit Rawtenstall again before Christmas as I have heard about the outdoor artisan markets on a Saturday in the town centre, so I'll be giving the Fire Pit Restaurant some serious thought about visiting again then.
Food was good, I asked for my steak rare and it was a little overdone but still delicious regardless. My girlfriends macaroni cheese was the best I've ever tried, really cheesy and creamy and seasoned well. Prices were about what you'd expect, maybe the same you'd pay in Manchester. Service was friendly but did have to go up to the bar on a couple of occasions in order to order drinks. Will definitely return.
Fantastic service, the food was excellent the best steak I've ever had .
And the staff where lovely too nothing too much trouble.
Will certainly be going again very soon.
Really enjoyed our visit to the Firepit. The menu is mostly burgers, kebabs and grilled steak, although there were two fish options as well, but this suited us. Everyone was happy with their food - I had the cheeseburger which was bigger than I expected. The Firepit burger was huge and the hanging chicken kebab was different but delicious. Would definitely go again.
Came to this place as a family of 8. Food, service, drinks and staff all exceptional. I had baby back ribs followed by ribeye on stone. The food was unbelievable. I would highly recommend the drum stick cocktail. I cannot find a fault with this restaurant. Even as a family of 8, all the dishes cane out the same time, all hot and no complaints. I will 100 % recommend this place and will 100% return.
We booked the firepit for our 1st wedding anniversary, it was a really nice atmosphere with very friendly staff. The only thing stopping it being 5 stars was the cost. £10 for a starter seemed a bit expensive but all in all the food was great and we had a lovely night.
Amazing food but particularly the steaks cooked to your own liking on a sizzling hot stone. Mixed grill recommended, as well as the chicken kebab.
The food was delightful. Only problems were the vegetarian options for mains. Unfortunately, the service was mediocre as even though the staff were friendly, we went as a group of 4 and were applied a 10% service charge! It wasn't as if we ordered fancy drinks either, just 2 mocktails and I unfortunately don't know the name of one drink. The music in here was a little too loud, couldn't hear the waiters really. Other than that, an okay place to eat.
Went on Tues 13th April. Staff were so busy but always smiled and made you feel at ease. The Scallops were the best I've EVER tasted and my steak was perfect as usual. Loved the full menu of food and drinks were available even with the restrictions. Well done The Firepit, amazing as usual.
First time visiting this restaurant after a recommendation from a friend. We ordered a 5oz steak with fries, cheese and bacon burger with fries and the Southern fried chicken burger with chunky chips. All 3 meals were of excellent quality and the portions were very generous. The staff were very accomodating in modifying our meals e.g. the southern fried chicken burger having no bacon and with chunky chips instead of fries. All the modifications made were bang on and with a 'no problem' from staff. We then ordered deserts which included an apple tart with vanilla ice cream and a chocolate flaming ball. Both were absolutely delicious and the flaming ball was so cool even though it only lasted for a few seconds. We ordered quite a few different cocktails, shots and soft drinks and again they were great. Service from staff was excellent and they constantly checked to see if you needed anything else. Would definitely come here again.
