It took us a while to find this place - the iSat didn't help, but it was SO worth the effort. Delicious food in a very nice environment, with really friendly and efficient service. We'll go again, and highly recommend it.
We have visited the Whichaff Inn several times and have never been disappointed with the choice of menu or the service, overall a very good dining experience.

We love this place. We drive 10 miles out of our way to come here. Been numerous times and the food is always excellent!!
Been here many times and never had a problem. Recommended it to family and friends who haven't been disappointed either. Just remember this is real food, you might have to wait a bit, real food takes time to cook, but it's worth the wait. �
Yum yum!. LOVE this place! Great for family meals,romantic meals and business lunches. I have been coming her at least once a month for 5 years and have NEVER had a bad meal yet. Loads of veggie choice and specials. Bev the waitress is an absolute star-go there it's brill!!
A very popular local pub with an extensive menu. We were there on a lovely sunny day and sat in the garden. There was so much choice we struggled to pick but were not disappointed. Some unusual dishes and good sized portions. Service was prompt despite being busy, and friendly. Dogs are not welcome indoors.
I've been known to be particular, however I couldn't fault the service or food. I really enjoyed my meal, in fact everyone enjoyed their meals. Everything was delicious, hot and cooked to perfection! Good homemade food. Car parking to the side and rear. Great outdoor eating area. Very clean throughout. No NHS or Bluelight discount. Will definitely be going back!

The recent renovation has really opened up the interior. Much brighter and more spacious. Varied menu and the food was delicious.
Booked a table for 2 for a friend’s birthday. We had a lovely cosy corner, service was top class, efficient but not rushed. Food was 10/10 with good vegetarian options, we had a fabulous pudding too which was huge and we shared. Parking onsite is free, tables are not too close together and there is a lovely outdoor seating area too. Clean loos too. Will be back again and again!
Had a table booked for a small group of us. Decor lovely inside with fashionable table and chairs which are comfy. Nice bar area and good selection of beers and wines and soft drinks. Extensive menu at reasonable prices. Portions are very good and tasty. Selection of lite bites avaliable in the week as well as the regular menu. Lovely meal and nice atmosphere. Will be back again soon.

I've been coming to the Whitchaff for as long as I can remember; dates, family meals, catch ups with friends...
The food is amazing, every time we come it's always a massive decision what to order but it all tastes so good. Family favourites steak and Stilton pie, cajun chicken ciabatta, I miss the Stilton chicken dish though! Their cheesy garlic bread is one of the best around, the burgers are as big as your head and all their desserts are delicious. Portion sizes are spot on - go hungry, prices are good.
Yes, when it's peak times service is slower which is to be expected but not too long you feel forgotten. That gives you more time to relax and catch up with those around you, you're not hurried off your table so enjoy your wine!
Staff are lovely, the refurb is the icing on the cake! We're not local but we absolutely all drive to get there. Recommend to book but in the better weather you can eat outside also. So grateful that they survived covid as would have been an absolute loss to lose this place ❤
Haven't been for a while since it's been refurbished. They've done a great job. Very well finished and looks great. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. The food is great English pub grub with a mixture of more modern twists.

Superb food and service. Booked online - very easy. Lovely interior and atmosphere, and not too hot inside even on a warm day. No vegan options, and only 1 vegetarian main (the best cheese+onion pie ever), although I'm sure if you ask, they could accomodate it. I decided to have the vegetarian 'garden sharing platter' as a main.. huge of course but excellent.
