Overall a home feel experience. Super friendly landlady and overall business run with a friendly attitude. Some bar staff are a little mardy if you ask for something a certain way but understandable with challenging customers during busy times. They have a range of alchohol free drinks, sugar free and full sugar drinks. A decent selection on draft and bottled ciders and ales. Update: there has been a significant reduction in alcohol free options since the refurbishment. Tap room can be crowded on a night and although listed as a sports bar, it has one TV for sport any one for something else with the addition of music in the background and crazy amounts of intoxicated people speaking over each other, in terms of sensory - can be a bit much. They are great for hiring for a function, wake, birthday or anniversary they put on a decent spread to you liking too. Update: although since the refurbishment the choice of food for the buffet, is poor. Even with ups and downs, it's a great little pub. Worth a visit if you're passing or live near. Update: Outside has nice seating now but the car park is smaller and there becomes increase in parking on the grass verges.

We have just had a family Christmas party at the haynook and I could not be more happy! From booking to finishing the party, the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful and the whole day was amazing thanks to the staff! We had such a good time we have decided to make our annual family Christmas do! Thank you so so much and we'll see you soon ❤️

I don't come here very often but it is one of the very few places here in Maltby to go to that actually has an atmosphere, which is very important for me, Its both nice inside and outside, it is a small local pub however but it's great location that brings the locals together. They serve food but I haven't had anything yet, only been for drinks. Drinks are on the expensive side! But what isn't expensive these days? With the cost of living going up so are the drinks. If you're looking for a small local pub that has atmosphere, situated in a nice quite central location of Maltby I'd say, where you can also have a bite to eat, watch the footie oh and they even have live music bands from time to time! Definitely drop on by the Haynook. See for yourself 😎😁 Sorry I have no photos

We have been for lunch again today at the Haynook. The food was excellent and the hospitality and service was first class. The landlord and landlady and all the staff are very welcoming and are doing a great job of making this pub something special. Keep up the good work.

Gorgeous Food as Always. Eaten here a few times as it's not far from me. We were a Party of 11 this time. we pre ordered as requested because it's a small kitchen. Everybody's meal was spot on and piping hot. Always Friendly Staff and Can't wait to pop in for Sunday dinner again.

We have been in the UK for about two weeks and have eaten out at different restaurants almost every day here. The Hay Nook has the best food we have ever tasted. I will miss it when we leave.
