Booked the Black Swan for a family Sunday Lunch and get together. It was the best Sunday lunch I have eaten out by far. A friend recommended this place, so we popped in on a Sunday lunchtime. Excellent all round service, nice surroundings and atmosphere, a little pricey but well worth a visit. The village is lovely too! 🙂
Extremely long drive but worth every second of a trip to Cumbria. The food quality is impeccable, as are the standards of hygiene by staff and on-site. Everything is clean and honestly, this should be on a list of places to visit before you die.

Great place to hire for a large family gathering. Very well equipped kitchen. Not sure how meny bedrooms but my room was excellent. Also has games room and video games downstairs. Hot tub and sorner out side. Down side is parking area is to small .
