The Modern Boulangerie - Ramsgate - Photo album

First time here, had 2 almond croissants and tea, coffee. Just after 8am, so pretty empty, like what they've done with the decor, food and drinks arrived by the lovely waitress, croissants were amazing, staff friendly. Plenty of choice for breakfast/lunch etc. Paid the bill......£15.00. Little exces
The best baked things I've ever had in Britain. There is nothing I've ever eaten from TMB that hasn't been extraordinary. Today's Sourdough Granary was a revelation - fluffy, nutty, beautiful crumb and a just hint of natural sour. I've eaten (my colleague said "devoured") half the loaf in 3 minutes.
I do have to give this place a ton of credit; whenever I walk past in the mornings on my way to work I always get a wave and smile from the staff working in the front... So this endeared me to TMB massively. I had a medical appointment on the 16th and felt like I should treat my mum to a treat here
Lovely tea room with accommodating and pleasant service. Pots run at 5£ shared. Pro tip: the scones are better than the croissants and their cheese selection is small but superb!
Thank goodness I was only visiting and not a local, I would easily be the size of a house with the sheer selection of pastries and cake on offer! Can recommend the almond croissant but that’s just because that was the treat I had. My family will argue that their choices were the best as we all had s
A nice little cafe/bakery here. Service was lovely and the food was delicious. The bread here is exceptional.
We visited this wonderful cafe for breakfast. Hubby had the best eggs Benedict. Eggs cooked perfectly. Most delicious ham. I had a bacon roll with homemade brown sauce. Very friendly staff. Cannot praise my experience enough. We loved the food so much we took a peanut butter and jelly croissant to g
They have moved since I was here last. So no queuing outside on Queen Street . Now in Harbour Street in a lovely double fronted building. Lots of seating inside and table service. Still the same lovely baked goods though. Nice to see how Ramsgate town is attracting new buisnesses back into the centr
Update: 2023.07.09 Yes we are back again and again and we target to try every single item from this bakery, so good, especially the TMB’s sourdough and all the pies, pastries… This bakery is low key, but amazingly delicious, we will definitely go back again for more 💋❤️
Lovely eggs on toast, and could choose additonal toppings. Not a full English type place but bacon was on the menu. Loved that there were more mature staff and friendly service as well as excellent food. Not cheap but a nice treat
We had vegetable soup today and it was excellent, folled by cranberry meringue pie which was also excellent, the service made us feel very welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. It makes you want to go back soon!
Excellent value for money! Large portions and great quality ingredients. The three cheese toasty was delicious, great bread, and lashings of cheese! Interior is well maintained, staff very friendly and attentive. We'll be coming back. Ramsgate has needed somewhere like this for years.
Got a brownie and a meringue cranberry tart to take away on our visit to Ramsgate today. I wasn't expecting much to be honest with you just because I'm never really impressed with bakeries. But OMG this was the most delicious brownie I've had (after my own ones)! So rich and moist, covered in chocol
Good quality bread, good chew and very tasty. Ordered the Turkey Cabana, which was good but small for a sandwich, more like a kids portion of sandwich. Unfortunately, we seemed to come at a bad time as the kitchen made a couple of mistakes. Served us some beetroot borani which tasted past it's best
An in-house service that bakes and creates all the products on sale. It is 100% pet friendly too! Having shopped here previously from the front of shop, we had a brunch here for the first time in the bright and clean cafe at the back. Looking at the menu, we were initially a bit surprised at the "hi
Absolutely amazing food (the lemon & merengue tart I had was so fresh and tasty), lovely atmosphere and staff. The curried chicken sandwich I also had was brilliant. Highly recommended!
Fantastic food, staff really knowledgeable about allergens information. The smashed cucumber was absolutely gorgeous, and the gluten free millionaire shortbread was a great combination of butter toffee and smooth chocolate with a light biscuit base.
Relaxed and airy space and lovely staff. The coffee is excellent and the breakfast / brunch sandwiches are packed with flavour and super filling. The pastries are all gorgeous too!
