Ordered through Just Eat. Food came in the alloted them. My food was delicious, I had a chicken steak burger and fries. My partner order a half pounder burger with was meant to be two beef patty's but there was only one. Still good food but obviously some was missing, we message them and they gave a full refund on that meal. Unfortunate there was something missing but would order again as it was very good good.
Genuinely the best chicken in Thanet, never disappoints and it's completely cheaper than everywhere else. Their spicy chicken strips never miss, I'd go here over KFC every single time.
Great food, friendly service, decent atmosphere.
Arguably better than KFC, especially when it comes to the price and generosity of portions. Always been a fan of Morley's-style fried chicken and this is no exception, it's actually better than the 'official' one in Chatham. Five and a half quid for two bits of chicken, three wings and a good portion of chips plus a drink is a giant bargain in this day and age of the cozzie livs crisis, and it tastes great too :3
Not so good if you're getting it delivered, most of the horror stories about this place seem to be from people who tried to use delivery services - third-party software/services isn't often well-equipped for much more than the big names so honestly it's kind of understandable. Ordering directly from the counter however is much easier.
Better than KFC, often cooked freshly in-store. Big portions, great value for money, friendly service. Owners are Sri Lankan, much like the founders of the original Morley's Chicken from South London (which this place is a clone of, presumably, given the similar name and design), though the two companies are separate.
Chicken comes from a provider that's following Halal procedures well if that is a concern for Muslims, though has traveled quite some distance (from up in Thorne). I haven't personally experienced any hazardous issues with the cooking and meat quality and I've been eating from here for about two years now so I presume there's nothing to worry about.
Place seems to be kept clean and tidy and the drinks are also UK stock which makes a change from a lot of independent stores which tend to sell import canned drinks (which often taste noticeably different).
Don't get it delivered though, you'll be waiting forever. This is often a problem with independent outlets who are relying on third party software to process orders and don't really have the resources and expenses compared to the big companies, even when it comes to using delivery front-ends like Just Eat.
Foods always fantastic, would recommend the bbq magnum burger 🍔
Very nice food and disabled friendly
I highly recommend this fried chicken joint, the chicken is cooked to perfection and the skin is very crispy with perfect texture and seasoned very well. There burgers are nice and juicy. Don’t get me started on the amazing chips.
Wings weren't spicy enough but other than that it was pretty good, quite expensive but the chicken is very succulent and the breading is done really well, the chips are really good as well, also once went in there messy and bossman didn't care, although I was almost sick in the place.
I have been ordering from Morliss for a few years now and the food is great (apart from the occasional soggy garlic bread!). I have tried ordering for delivery a couple of times with not much success (took a long while, food was cold, wrong order delivered, etc), but ordering for collection is always very reliable.
Great for 🐔 chicken. Better tasting, larger portions, and proper fries than KFC. Lovely and hot when delivered. Used both just eat and deliveroo.
Cheep and cheerful! Such good price for the food when you compare to McDonald's and KFC. One of my fav fast foods
