Such a great place to eat or just enjoy a drink!! The staff are brilliant, nice atmosphere (there was a guy playing piano while I was there) and the food is great. Had the prawns with salad and chips and Valentine's cake and loved it all. Very dog friendly!!

With a breakfast like this what's not to love about The Green Tara. Loved the Belgium Bar but the makeover, staff and friendly welcome of this new eatery will, I'm sure, keep it firmly fixed in the harbour.

This place is a little gem. My friend took us as we love Belgium beer and they had a great stock of bottles and leffe on tap. We asked the chef if he could knock up some nibbles as well and he did us some beautiful garlic tomatoes on the vine with mushrooms plus chips and cheese on rustic bread. Delicious and reasonably priced. Will be coming again for definite 😉

Food fabulous. Chef par excellente. Used to go here prev when it was the Belgian Cafe. Disappointed when it folded. Green Tara has kept it largely the same which is great. Waiting staff just need 2b a bit more on the ball. Well worth eating here & reasonably priced 👍.

Dog friendly, good atmosphere, still taking food orders at 21.45 (only Pizzas & Pasta meals after 21.00) the all day breakfast is great and the Haddock gets a thumbs up as well. Good range of beers & wine

We really love this quirky bar. Fresh food and cooked infront of you. Fresh fish or vegetarian meals amongst them. Great Belgian beers and drinks on offer. Lovely to sit in the sun outside and watch the world go by, especially when they have Jazz or musicians playing ! The huge Weatherspoons has overwhelmed its business slightly but if you are looking for friendly, informal, great local fresh produce and great beers then it's a must. Reasonable prices too.

Great food. Excellent range of larger from the continent. Best of all they have guitars and a piano for you to play when you fell like it. Independently run and very friendly. Also open very late!

Only open recently from the ashes of the famed Belgium Cafe. Still available are a great range of Belgium beers and Pizza from the built in pizza oven. Also has a small 'new' menu of their own creation. The decor has been brightened up and has kept the vibe of old. I even recognised some locals from the BB days. I really hope that this place does well and will probably review again once settled in. I raise a beer to your success.

Second week in a row. Really good food and nice atmosphere. Worth a visit for sure. The pizzas device and the all day breakfast a feast to behold. Thanks

Haven't been in since it changed its name Anyway is always good though but I phoned today no one in charge as it was like it when it was the Belgian Bar. Andy is a lovely bloke! I have no idea how he does it as he is the most disorganised man I know but he does and his places are lovely including the OLD KENT ROAD in Margate That's worth a go bit of parking is a problem in summer I can recommend the beer and burger in the London bus that this lunatic has put in the old cinema!!! Burgers are great! 6 Oz with lovely cheese! Camembert in oven mmm! That enough! Have fun

You can take a dander down to the seafront and find yourself walking in with ease! The ambience is eclectic and electric as are the people that go there! I always find it friendly, warm and welcoming!
