The food is good quality but slightly pricey - though expected for the location. The service was top-notch. Location is just perfect - yards away from the harbour and the beach. Views from the restaurant are excellent - especially when sat outside. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend it.

Given it's prime location on Ramsgate harbour I have to say my expectations were not particularly high when we took our table outside in the forecourt overlooking the harbour. If only I had taken the time to read the reviews of A La Turka I would have known what an extraordinary customer experience I was about to have.
Make no mistake this is the real deal, genuine authentic Turkish food and what glorious food we were treated to.
We selected the special sharing Meze as our lunchtime treat, enough for 3/4 people apparently. It did not disappoint! In fact it exceeded our expectations. The quality of the fresh foods was stunning! Cooked to perfection and busting with authentic Turkish flavours, impossible to fault.
The staff were super professional, welcoming and efficient. Big shout out to Henry in particular who, with his playful sense of humour made our gastronomic experience even more special.
This is a truly wonderful eating out experience with huge parasols and a warm, relaxed atmosphere. We were even lucky enough to have a little bit of sunshine too!
If you love Turkish food... I guarantee A La Turka will not disappoint.

One of the best Turkish food we ever had. The staff members are very friendly and professional. It has terrace space as well as very spatious indoor area.
Staff very welcoming all with smiles. I love the decor...not too over the top but cozy and clean.
Starters was good and with adequate portions. Drinks were lovely and was not lacking on the alcohol....the main meal however, I won't say it is authentic Turkish food but it tasted OK.
Desert looked nice but could of been .ore flavoursome.
All in all especially for the polite and easy-going staff, I'll give them a 4 overall....very hard to find good service these days...especially as we visited from London.
Food was lovely..service was a bit slow waited 25min for cold starters to arrive after complaining. Are waiter took are order then left.. Another waitress was then put on are section but wasn't informed of our order. And the manager then had a go at her for no reason. Kelsey are waitress was lovely and very polite no complaints about her..
Friendly, helpful and professional staff with excellent food quality made A La Turka the highlight of our trip to Ramsgate.

Very good location, by the seaside. Beautiful outdoor seating area with Mediterranean plants. Food was great but, although we didn't mind it, was surprised that we didn't get bread with our kebabs. Service and atmosphere were good.

Pretty outdoor sitting area with Grape Vines and colorful petunias. We sat inside though. Food was delicious. Our waiter was extremely attentive. Would definitely eat there again

Amazing hospitality, top class service from the staff. The food was delicious and fulfilling as well. We ordered a mixed platter for 4 and we were quite hungry and was a bit anxious about the size of the serving. But the chef didn't disappoint as there was just the right amount of food. The pricing was also quite reasonable as we didn't have to break the bank to pay for drinks.

We came from Margate to Ramsgate to visit this place because in Margate restaurants are closed from 2pm to 6pm which is residuals but we liked this place, even though we didn’t book but they provided us a good table, the decoration and cleanliness was spot on, the service was very good, the lamb shish I had was very delicious, the location was also nice, the menu was very thorough, portion was on point and finally staff were nice. I am very picky but didn’t find anything bad about this place on my visit.
My wife and I ate here for the first time recently, faultless. We eat out frequently and we are fussy about food. Everything was delicious, starters were huge! I can eat and a starter and main were almost too much for me. But that's not to say it was quantity over quality because the flavours were spot on. Service was warm and friendly and they have a great selection of non-alcohlic beers and cocktails. We will definitely be back, wish we'd tried you guys sooner. Thank you all so much.
Went here yesterday night for dinner with three friends. We all work at the hospital and came in for a late dinner after a long days work. Despite coming in late this restaurant was so accommodating. They had no issue serving us dinner and the service was excellent. Our waitress went above and beyond to make our visit a memorable one. The food was excellent as well with some great meat. I would highly recommend going here
We went into A La Turka on a whim for my son's 2nd birthday, and what a treat we had! We had an amazing array of flavours, the presentation was excellent, and the staff were friendly. My only critique was that there seemed to be only 3 waiters, which for a restaurant that size didn't quite seem right - perhaps one or two more would be useful especially as it was busy! Otherwise, an excellent experience!
Absolutely amazing food. Best food I've had in ages. Beautifully marinated and the bread was superb. Lovely venue. Recommend!
