A delightful culinary experience. There's an unassuming charm to this restaurant, a brother and sister owned venture which hits every mark. No wonder Michellin thought appropriate to recommend Arya (hence our visit). Jess is warm, unpretentious and more than happy to chat about the restaurant. Luke (chef) is clearly a master of his craft, delivering fresh, beautifully cooked and at times self foraged ingredients. Highly recommended.

Solid four for this brother/sister joint. I went along with my friends and enjoyed the courage of the menu and the range of flavours. We ordered two starters, six small plates and three puds. They were tasty but not huge. Luckily we ate slowly and enjoyed the chat so we felt, well fulfilled. The drinks from the independent bar below were tasty and reasonably priced. My photos do not do it justice.

Great food and service, worth the Michelin recognition! The address on Google map is a bit hard to find though it's actually above the pub round the corner.

Wow what a treat. As vegans dog owners we were in absolute heaven. The food was totally amazing, creative dishes full of flavour and wholesome natural ingredients. The environment was inviting and relaxing, Jess was more than welcoming to us and our 2 dogs. We had a great evening.

Great food in intimate and accomodating surroundings - Jess front of house was friendly and went the extra mile to make sure we could eat in the restaurant, even though it was fully booked. Chris, from the pub down stairs is an asset to the team and gave really good advice about the varied drinks options. And the food cooked, and some served by, Luke the chef was some of the best food we have eaten in Kent. No mistake, this chef understands flavours and textures and produced some really interesting and delicious dishes. The food is tapas style sharing small plates, so you can try a real variety of dishes. We also loved the fact that everything down to the freshly made bread is locally sourced, and the menu changes to reflect this. We're already looking forward to coming back, and wish Arya all the success it deserves.

What a great find! Situated above the pub you're left a little apprehensive at first but fear not, venture in and you'll be treated to great hospitality and excellent food. All the plates we tried were tasty and well put together. My wife and I shared some nibbles to start and five main plates. After sharing a dessert we left pleasantly full and very happy..

I came with high hopes. We had five dishes in total. One or two dishes didn’t quite meet those holes at the start but then a couple more bites made me realise that actually it was in fact exactly what I should be wanting. The lamb gnocchi and the boccacini were the highlights. Exciting. Simple. Innovative. Consistently delicious throughout. Great, personal service with perfect ambience.

We had an Incredible meal tonight! Warm welcome from Jess and some of the best food we've ever had from Luke in the kitchen! Personal favourite dishes were the beef cheeks and the venison!

The food was both delicious and surprising. Food combinations I would never have thought of coupled with beers, wines and cocktails that were truly something. Reasonable value and wonderful ambience. A real find, especially for Ramsgate.
