The Home Front Tea Room - Ramsgate - Photo album

Needing a cuppa we stopped in yesterday June 2nd. Had a lemon drizzle cake too. We were hooked. We book the special tea for today. Arrived to find the window table deck in a lovely embroidered table cloth with beautiful china and cutlery. Buckingham Palace Garden Party Tea was absolutely delicious.
Home Front Tea Room has a nostalgic 1940s atmosphere with great food, memorabilia and top notch customer service. Recommend you pass through if in Ramsgate.
Staff are friendly and make you feel right at home. The decor too is one of a kind and I personally adored the little jumper my tea pot was wearing. However, both the tea itself and the scone were quite mediocre and the clotted cream far too hard so this place gets 4 stars from me.
Wonderful tea room with the best service and attention to detail. This is a must for anyone! Good value for money and great scones with a cream tea.

The decor is amazing - as you look around you find more and more detail, all related to 1940’s era. The staff at Home Front were friendly and attentive. We enjoyed their
