My family and I had a lovely lunch here in August 2023. I cannot compliment the team enough for accommodating our ever- changing requests by phone as we neared the day of our meal - including emailing us a menu. On the day we found the food to be good and the service excellent - polite, attentive, but not intrusive. Main courses were both delicious and plentiful in volume (at least for us!). The pub and facilities were very clean. I'd be very happy to take my family there again. The new management and team deserve to succeed, and I wish them every success.
We had a delicious meal at the Crown & Anchor tonight. There was so much to choose from on the menu and great options for gluten free & vegetarians/vegans too! Love the atmosphere here 🙌🏻. Staff are very friendly and dogs are welcome in the pub (yay!)

New management is awesome, a nice lady behind the bar, Siân, as well as a LOVELY manager, Mihai. Food was great and a pint of Guinness at a good price, would highly recommend!

Great little authentic pub, not fancy in any way, open fire, pool table and darts.
Great selection of gins.
Taps £3per dish, great for eating with your beer.
Excellent food at a reasonable price. Good service from attentive staff. Would recommend it to others and we will be back .
This is a lovely place to stay. The room we stayed in has its own entrance, was really clean and has a very comfortable bed. The owners are friendly, cheerful and helpful, plus they serve an enormous cooked breakfast! Tea and coffee making facilities and toiletries supplied, plus onsite parking. Highly recommended.
