Fabulous food and service here, wish we lived a bit nearer.
You know how, sometimes, you have an expectation of a place, and sometimes, the actual event somehow falls short....
Well, not this time.
I finally got down to the Eastern Eye again, and once again, they delivered.
After 15 years of the Antipodean alternative, my Madras and Kingfisher knocked my socks off.
A superbly balanced and perfectly cooked curry with mushroom pilau, naans, and chapatis, complete with attentive and efficient service from intelligent and pleasant waiters in a fantastic surround - what's not to like!
Highly, highly recommended, even without the memories.

Had a fantastic meal, the food is really good. Place is very clean and staff very friendly. This Indian has been in Rammy since the eighties and should be around for a long time based on our experience.

I've not been to Eastern Eye for some 15 years. No particular reason other than it's not that local. Went tonight for my birthday. It was fantastic! Well done gents! Food was excellent! Service was 1st class. 10 out of 10.
Lovely staff here, very attentive but not pushy, food was very good, their Nan bread is really special, amazingly light and fluffy, vegatable rice delicious, took elderly parents here last night, 4 people in total and we all enjoyed the well cooked meal.. The decor is basic but giving 5 stars for food quality and lovely service. I'll come back 👌😊
Been in a couple of times (New to the area) good food and at reasonable prices for food and drinks. Friendly staff and good service very enjoyable
Came in for a meal with family, 6 of us, very welcoming staff, young waiter ash his name he said it was, he was very attentive and friendly, he looked after us all, food was lovely, i especially enjoyed the king prawn bhuna, the biggest king prawns i ever seen in my life. Wow how amazing. I will be back more often.
We ordered a take out this eve, asked it to be delivered to our home in Walmersley at 17:15 it was right on time. The food was tasteful well cooked. Value for money.We also visit the Restaurant frequently and have all ways been pleased, we are regular customers.
