Absolutely delicious freshly cooked fish chips & peas with a cup of tea . There’s a choice of sauces.. like curry sauce.. next time. All freshly made, tea bag in boiling water and a jug of milk. They do their best and were very busy. I think an extra member of staff to serve would have helped.. th
Very impressed with this chippy. There is seating in the back and the staff are quick to serve and very friendly. They do a couple of meal deals that are really good value for money. One of the finest fish & chip shops I have been to. Well established in the area. The food is always excellent, and very ample portions. Excellent choice of food available. Well worth a visit.
Wonderful chippy with a great owner (even if he threw me under the bus in telling my wife how often I stopped in ;) While you might miss it walking past, there is seating inside or plenty of nice areas outside to sit an enjoy a nice summer day. Thanks Paul, and I'll visit again next time over!

The best option of chips I've had for a long time. Fresh, hot and with a crunch. They also have a small seating area/cafe round the back.
Perfect fish. Best I've had in a long time. Flakey fish, crispy batter. The scallop again was perfect.
Very nice fish and chips. The black pudding fritters are well worth a try.

I’ve only had the cone of chips, but I have to say they were delicious. Just as chips should be, crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked in the middle.
Lovely food. Can’t fault the service but cash only

The fish was in two bits and I doubt was haddock or cod. Anyway I have been since and it was bob on. Enough for me but smaller
