Decided to give Manor Farm a chance today with the New managers in. We all had Sunday dinners food was amazing. The staff were friendly. Even though it was busy wait times wasn’t to bad. The pub is family friendly and is now going to be our go to place

I booked a table for a family gathering to give the manor another try after hearing about the new management. Over the years the manor has disappointed but this visit was great. The staff on bar were lovely and after ordering the food was out so quick. The food and service was incredible! I would definitely recommend. I can happily say the manor is thriving under new management!

Called in late afternoon for a very late midday meal. Mixed grill was amazing. Every individual part cooked to perfection, loved the chips but could eat them all so brought them home in a napkin. I'll be having them tomorrow.

I really love this place. Always good food and the staff very pleasant. The pub itself is wonderful, it's a mix of old fashioned with a modern feel about it. It's great sitting outside when the weather allows. There's a large car park

What a fantastic pub, the building is stunning and got a warm and inviting welcome. Great prices on beer and large range of draught. We had the fish and chips and wow the fish was massive and tasty. Huge outside beer garden with kid friendly space. Highly recommend and will return!

Not had the best experience in the past but the new owners are really accommodating. The staff are genuinely happy to see you and enjoy having a chat with you. The food was much better than we have had before (got told there was a new chef) The new owners seem to want to know what the customers want and are trying their best to get the Manor Farm back on the map!!! Lovely massive space at the back of the pub, looks really inviting from the front and had a really nice atmosphere Can’t wait to come back

Not a bad place actually. Lovely building and gardens. It was quite busy when we went with a party going on as well as lots of other families/kids too. Our food came in good time though and was tasty and reasonably priced.

Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Took advantage of the sun and sat outside lovely setting tables and chairs clean. Although a lot of cigarette stumps on the ground. Did get a whiff of someone smoking as we left. Not pleasant. Food was well prepared and prices reasonable. Noticed a play area which must be great for families.

Nice garden seating areas, clean interior. A big letdown when receiving our food orders items missing from both our meals. Unfortunately, I had to go up and complain twice, but it was dealt with in a professional, polite way, by the staff. However, had the meals checked before leaving the kitchen, this would have saved any embarrassment. The lady we spoke to did, however, offer a free drink by way of an apology. It is a really nice place to go and have a drink.

Went for tea today with my son. Had a mixed grill, my son had steak. Superb meal, excellent service, lovely atmosphere on an autumn day. Highly recommended. Thanks

Quite busy as a nice sunny Friday evening, beer garden buzzing & plenty of children playing well. Still table's in the sun available. Nice beer, food came in no time. Better than average for a typical chain although presentation was lacking any effort.. Would return.

Pub has really improved recently. Food was great, cooked really well and fresh. Best pub food in the area. Staff are really friendly. Draft beers nice, and plenty of seating.

We held a wake for our father at the Manor Farm yesterday. Andy and his team were excellent from start to finish. From the initial enquiry on availability they couldn’t do enough to accommodate us. The range of food available, both hot and cold was freshly made, fabulous and delicious. It also has a great range of drinks at the bar to suit everyone. We would highly recommend holding any events at the Manor Farm.

We booked a table and went to the bar to order a drink and to find out where are table was situated. There was only 1 bartender and we were 4th in the queue. After 10 minutes or so another bartender came to serve. The place was very busy with a private function in the conservatory area. We ordered our meals, Turkey roast dinners, plus a starter to share. The starter arrived about 20 minutes later and was tasty. The mains didn’t arrive half an hour after this so we enquired when it would arrive. We were told that it wouldn’t be long. 5 minutes later, we were told there was no Turkey only beef left. We said ok to the beef because we had waited so long already and the waitress said it was ready to come out. Another 10 minutes passed before the meals arrived. So, we had waited almost 2 hours for them from the time of ordering! On a positive note, the staff were friendly and apologetic and the food was lovely! The beef was so tender and the roast potatoes were perfectly cooked. The portion size was huge, plus the chef threw in a few extra pigs in blankets. If the new managers could fine tune the staffing numbers to cater for the number of patrons and speed up the food service, then this gorgeous pub would be amazing! Despite the delay in food, we would try it again.

Editing my review as we visited manor farm again today after hearing it had been taken over. The place was much cleaner than our previous visit, the two ladies that were working were both lovely and very friendly. Food was much better too! So glad the new management have clearly made positive changes. We will definitely come back.
