I visited this fantastic Micropub
This great ale house/micropub is a great place with good outside drinking space in the square in front of the pub.
It's really easy-going pleasant, mostly local following and good bar staff on my visit
The pub served a grand range of obscure bee
Beer in excellent condition. Best time to go is when they open at 4pm as there's no one else in. Excellent selection of ales. Would highly recommend it.
Great little boozer. If your looking for generic beers or larger don't bother. The Skew sells real ale, Cider and some spirits. No music or tv and only sells bar snacks. If you want a quiet chat and a quality beer it's the place for you. If you want a pint of Foster's your in the wrong place.
Love this place. No music or t.v. just great beer and conversation, and Phil and Amanda are the best hosts. All the staff are friendly, and everyone is willing to help you get the right drink for you.
The whisky and gin selection is epic. The bitter is always A1
All those that frequent it are fri
Still where I left it 2 days ago and still dispensing fine ales at reasonable prices to lovely local foke.
Such a good place this. A wide variety of real ales reasonably priced. The Precinct is a great vibe for drinking outside hope this continues after May.
Prompt service. Friendly staff. Good selection of beers.
Nice interior and great place to sit outside in the square with good service.
Real ales served by great staff. Also dog friendly even better.
Very friendly with a good choice of beers and ciders which change often. I can always find at least 2 or 3 that I'm happy with. It's a small space so you often get talking to people on the next table. Highly recommended if you enjoy beer/cider and good conversation
