We stopped here at The Ship and very glad we did! Down to earth and friendly service fantastic homemade lasagne and chips and good gammon and chips at a very reasonable price. Don’t go to the more upmarket hotel next door, they were v. stuffy & rude about offering us a hot meal as they had no room
We stopped by this pub on the way back from Pembrokeshire and we all cleaned our plates - probably the best sandwiches we've had 👍 - fresh and tasty, proper melt cheese and cooked beef. And lovely country chips. Friendly and considerate staff. Dogs friendly place.
Staying over for work, 3 nights. Had the viking gammon, the ship burger, loaded fries and steak, all delicious food. Staff and locals all very friendly.

Lovely stop in the sunshine for brunch and a coffee. The food was great quality, fast and very reasonably priced and the coffee was fast and good quality. We visited on a Friday lunchtime as a group of 12 bikers and caught them off guard as we ordered a range of food and drinks but the lady at front of house did very well to catch it all.

Arrived on Saturday during bank holiday weekend, no one else inside. Great selection of food including breakfast served til 3pm. The Captain's breakfast was hearty with loads of toast. If you visit Raglan castle be sure to pop into have some food here.
