We had lunch at the Plough U had Chicken Stir Fry Jae had jalapeño burger and Hollie had Hunter chicke n burger they where bloody lovely The service was great and staff where attentive The Plough is the place to have really good food we will be going back xx
Amazing food was great, chef was lovely. Loads of food sent the table. Staff lovely! Goodbye Running Hare the plough is everything the Running Hare isn't. Chips are amazing and nothing is served cold or burnt or raw. The chef and staff go over and above, even when you turn up late. Thanks so much xx
sunday lunch lovely food and great service didnt book very busy but they still found room for us, thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend to all family and friends.

Visited today with my Son daughter in law and grandson to celebrate my husband's birthday the food was delicious well done to the chef staff were very polite and helpful would certainly recommend the food will be visiting again.
Absolutely 10/10 for the carvery. Delivered to my house it was beautiful. Tasted and looked all homemade,big portions and so worth the money. Definitely the best carvery around by far. Richard is a lovely genuine guy and was very helpful. Thank you
Came to the plough with my family today for a carvery and we sat down to eat the table was ready on arrival the food was amazing. Not many carverys have like sprouts and roasted parsnips mashed carrots but this one did. The chef was amazing always cracking the jokes livening the place up and I can honestly say what a nice man he was lovely with my 3 year old little girl and 2 year old nephew. They loved him they had enough of there food didn’t eat much as kids do... and the chef came over and got them to have a few more spoon fulls for some ice cream which I had great respect for lovely homey family pub! Will be definitely going again!

Probably one of the best sunday carvery I have had. Chef (Tony) is fab! And the food was all hot and homemade bloody lovely! And a fab choice too including 3/4 different variety’s of gravy! Will be going again!!

The wife and I came back from Chester and we thought we would try the Plough a go and what a good decision it was, we both had the rump steak with all the trimmings, it was beautifully cooked the chips were crisp and soft and fluffy in the middle and to top it all the very friendly Chef give us a free dessert, we will be back with the rest of the family,

We came for a meal on June 9th. WOW!! The food was absolutely amazing. Even though we didn't have to wait long for our food, it was fresh, hot and delicious. Can't wait to come back again. Hats off to the Chef!!

Absolute gorgeous meal tonight � friendly pub and friendly staff. Usually go on a Sunday for the carvery which is lovely so tried the main menu tonight for the first time and we were more than impressed
Fantastic choice of food on menu and cooked to order! Lovely friendly and clean place with nice atmosphere and great the chef was brill! Defo be going back, kids really enjoyed their free ice cream too! �
The only disappointing part of the experience was that we have not visited sooner! Honestly the best carvery I have ever had!! All the food was really well cooked, it tasted exactly like a good, hearty, homemade dish! There was so many options, and they were the best priced by far. I don't think I will touch a carvery from any other place but here from now on! The staff we lovely, even though they were obviously very busy, they were always attentive and approached with a smile. Looking forward to coming again soon.
Amazing food very hot and delicious 🤤 especially pudding really good portion sizes, staff attentive and polite very friendly, really nice atmosphere would definitely recommend for a quiet meal or evening out will definitely recommend and we will be back. 😊
Friendly staff, easy to follow guidelines in place. Only disappointment was no mention of reduced menu on the website which stated a homemade lasagne but when we arrived it was all quick meals burgers, chips, Fish. Completely understand why the reduced menu but maybe state it on your website so people don't get disappointed with the lack of choice.
Took 42 Ladies there early Friday evening. Bar service efficient and courteous, and meals arrived quickly, still nice and hot and very tasty. All the Ladies were happy with what they ate and will call again when we’re in the area. A nice find. Thanks to all the staff, and Manager Steve for all your help and service on the evening.

Nice pub. Bar area on one side and restaurant area on other. Outdoor seating out front but mainly a smoking area really. Spacious seating area out back which seemed to be used for family fun days. Carvery on Sundays. Didn't have any but looked good enough, bog standard by looks of it. Good beer though not much choice for ale drinkers. Coffee was good apparently.

Went for my birthday 29th November for late lunch. Chef Tony who is Amazing recommended the lamb rum, absolutely amazing 10 out of 10 and he gave me a lovely birthday cake too. Been coming to this place for 20 years and I have to say that Tony is the best chef here now, he's a bit crazy too and very loveable! 👌👌👌

Since change of ownership big change in everything, longtime coming. Worth going their now food and drink atmosphere
We went for the carvery, there was a choice of 3 plate sizes I tried a large loads of meat and help yourself to veg and potatoes etc, so I did. The food was tasty and there was plenty of choice.The only let down was they ran out of glasses, guiness just ain't the same out of any other glass. But will definitely go back again.
