Went there on 25th March 2018. Just thought we would pop in on the off chance we could get in. It was our first time in this pub. Would absolutely recommend. Were seated straight away. Bar & restaurant staff very friendly & welcoming. Food was delicious. Will definitely be going again
Hired the Fleet for mums 60th birthday. Great food with a menu tailored to our specs. Dermot was accommodating of our many requests and a great guy. Dj was good and rocked some African dance music. Would highly recommend this place.
Just wanted to thank Dermot , the bar staff & especially Terry for making my daughters 18th party extra special. Everyone commented about the lovely venue & had so many compliments about how nice the food was . Highly recommend The Fleet & will hopefully be back very soon

We hired the venue for a joint 40th Birthday Party.
Nothing was too much trouble for Micheal, he helped set up and cleared away after.
Hot Buffet was excellent, plenty of variety. All served hot and fresh. The lady chef re stocked with the favourites during the evening and made sure we were happy with everything.
Bar service was excellent. Plenty of room in restaurant and bar area. Dj was good and played requests all night for the young and old.
A great choice of venue would definitely recommend!!
Celebrated my daughter's engagement party here great value for money lovely buffet and very helpful we had a nice night highly recommend this place
Me and misses had out engagement here saturday just gone! All i can say is that i wouldn't of changed for the world! The bar staff are amazing and do everything they can do to help with what you need! Food is amazing! Even the buffet food!

Brilliant venue �. Dermot was so accommodating when we were decorating it for my daughters 18th birthday party. Food was brilliant ��. Drinks reasonably priced. Dj was easy to request songs with. Plenty of parking. Such a success having our party there. Definitely recommend and we would use venue again. I will try tag some pics from party.
We had the carvery and it was lovely meat was tasty and tender and veg fresh. The service was excellent as well. This was the first time we have visited The Fleet we will def be going back. We was made very welcome by friendly staff.

I hired Fleet Bar for my Mums 75th birthday and it was a brilliant night! Dermot did everything possible to make sure everything went off without problems, buffet food was also excellent! We still have people passing comments about it! Would definitely book this venue again!

Had a delicious Christmas lunch. Couldn’t do enough for us. Moved the tables about so we could all chat better. Hot delicious food. My most important idiosyncrasy is the toilets, they were clean and spacious. Thank you for a lovely time

Very nice venue, we are there for our boys football award ceremony, and we hope it will be here again in 2018. Used to go here before with colleagues for work lunch or leaving do.

My Granddaughters 16th birthday party was held here. Very large area to hire with outside space as well. Extremely clean toilets. Lovely bar staff. Excellent all round. Can’t comment on food as that was our own. Would highly recommend holding your event at this venue.
Don't judge this place by the way it looks. Went for Sunday dinner and the food was good with big generous portions. Staff are really lovey and nice. Will be going back when we are in the area again.
I enjoyed it very much. . First visit for many a year but much improved 😃. Great bar staff as well.

If I could give over the 5 stars I would . This place is amazing . We held my best friends graduation party here last week and what a party it was , the staff were not only great but they made the party amazing ! Dermot was brilliant at helping us set up the whole event , nothing was too much and he was so helpful. A lovely lady behind the bar ( I didn’t manage to get her name ) was so lovely and great with the children. A special mention to shorty , this lady is amazing , she took photos and videos for us on the night that we wouldn’t have captured ourselves , she joined in and was so much fun , not many places you get that any more. She was so happy and you could tell she loved her job and what she does. Everyone loved her energy. We also went to their Easter event today for the children and again what an amazing time, the kids loved it ! Shorty was great at entertaining the kids and to see all the effort that was put into it was incredible , all for free aswell ! I love that the place is so child friendly too and the space is fab . Sorry for the long post but honestly couldn’t rate it enough, highly recommended . Thankyou x

Most of the week it seems people come and go , having one or two drinks . So nothing new there then . But on Sundays this pub transforms into a very good gastro venue . The dining area holds maybe forty people ? So phone in advance . The Sunday roasts are delicious ! But have that home made feel about them . A little known gem is this place

Was surprised to find this gem! Drinks under £4 for inch’s cider. Burger was juicy and fries moorish! The staff on was efficient and attentive. Can’t fault the Fleet. It deserves to have more local support!
It is a friendly place. The food is marvelous there, best chef ever. The staff is friendly and customers are nice. Good place to visit with a family, kids too

Not a bad little place to have a drink and a bite to eat. Food is your typical run of the mill pub food at ok prices.
Staff are very friendly and courteous and generally quick to serve unless there's a local pub quiz or an event on.
We had a very good Christmas Day meal there a few years ago which was priced very reasonably.
Would benefit from seeing the river as it's so close by. For better views visit the Royal Hotel further into Purfleet
Good honest food at reasonable prices. On the 7.10.22 they played host to our mums 99th birthday dinner. All 38 guests had pre- chosen their meal order and the food was served to the right guests all hot and tasty

Fantastic place and the landlord is a true gentleman. The food was great (Minced beef pie just like my mam used to make) If you are in the area don't hesitate to go to the Fleet you will not be disappointed 👍
