Lovely place serving home cooked food at reasonable prices. We often come for a special occasion. Staff are friendly and we always have a good time. Toilets are clean, parking is ample. There is also a nice outside seating area with a climbing frame for children. Would definitely recommend. The home made cherry pie is well renowned in the area and delicious.

Excellent service by pleasant staff. Lovely piping hot food that was delicious. The sirloin was particularly good. Nice atmosphere with plenty of room.

Really good experience. An old country pub in a small village which has been extended with a large all year heated and cooled marquee. Excellent traditional menu with a lunchtime variant at great value prices. Staff are very welcoming and efficient, but when the place is full, can be overwhelmed. Good for functions as there is plenty of space in the marquee, the original pub is small but more intimate for couples dining. Give it a try, we love it.
Went for early evening meal. Food was all well cooked and what I'd call fairly traditional pub food. Servers were all very friendly and service was very efficient. It was very quiet when we went as it was early so difficult to get a feel for the atmosphere. Plenty of parking to the rear and clean toilets. Would eat here again.

We had an amazing day at our Wedding 08/09/2023. Massive thank you to all the staff involved in the day, it was hot but you helped us manage as best you could. The food was amazing! Beyond what we asked for, Paul & the team did not let us down in any way shape or form. Everything was spot on down to a T. We will be forever grateful for your kindness towards us, Big up to paul & the gang! We will certainly be back for dinner soon x

Visited for an early Friday lunch, there is a lot of space in the marquee attached to the pub as well as in the car park, although it wasn’t overly busy when I visited. Ordered the steak and ale pie and chips which was a very generous portion and the terrine. Good amount of gluten free options and the food came fairly quickly although it was all quite expensive.
Great food and friendly staff,we have used the pub many times and the experience has always been a good one.
