Excellent meal and service and a nice bustling atmosphere. Dined as part of a hotel stay but would recommend regardless.

There was a group of 12 of us that came on Thursday evening, and the food and drink were fantastic. The service was excellent and great friendly staff. I chose the haddock but will be coming back to have the steak pie aswell as that looked amazing.

Had a great lunch here, the gammon steak was thick, soft, and cooked perfectly. The staff were efficient and polite, and the food arrived quickly. Recommended.
Had a very nice lunch, couldn't fault the food at all. The bar wasn't busy and there were plenty of tables available.

Lovely bar, great menu, particulaly the Sunday lunch options. Fantastic selection of alcoholic and soft drinks. Clean and spacious bathrooms. Plenty of parking outside.
Service was as expected from a quality hotel. At a very busy time the food was very good. . Maybe my main meal could have been hotter. My seafood starter had courgette strips on it which I thought unnecessary. Good pint of local bitter came a little slow as the barrel went. All in all a very good experience. My 2 sons who are vegan were very impressed with the food
I've been eating here for years. We often visit as a family group as basically it's always very good. The whole hotel is a delight to visit. Clean well decorated friendly staff. We love the food and a good selection of drinks.
