Fantastic food. Great service, friendly welcoming staff
Our first time here. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor. The service was excellent and we enjoyed the atmosphere. It had a nice intimate feel to it.
We had spicy prawn crackers, chicken green curry, a king prawn dish and coconut rice. My king prawn dish was excellent and had a nice spicy kick to it. After finishing mine, I polished off my wife's green curry and I liked it so much I told her to bring me some back as take-out when she comes here with her girlfriend. To top things off our meal included to complimentary beverages. We had red wine.
I have been to several Thai restaurants where they claim to have coconut rice, but many times I'm disappointed. River Moon's coconut rice is the most flavorful I have ever tasted!
At our first glance at the menu, we thought the food was a bit pricey, however, midway through our meal I commented that I don't mind paying a bit more for excellent food. My wife agreed.
We really enjoyed our dinner - the food had amazing flavour, reasonable price, beautifully presented. The staff were fantastic.

Having moved here recently, we decided to visit this restaurant for a nice meal out. The food was really good, ingredients fresh and flavourful. Would definitely be back again.
Chanced across this little gem after a knackering day on the water. Weren't we lucky? Absolutely delicious Thai food. We ate pretty much the whole menu and loved every dish. Would definitely recommend. They were very accommodating for a coeliac too.
Stayed in a hotel down the road and was recommended this Thai restaurant. The staff were very friendly, prices are good and we both really enjoyed our food. King prawns were enormous. Would recommend a visit.
I booked a table to celebrate my birthday in June 2023. Although they were short staffed in the restaurant the waitress went above and beyond to accommodate us all. I am a lover of Thai cuisine and the dishes that we ordered were not only delicious but also looked delicious too. I will definitely be returning soon to enjoy another feast.

I moved the local area (Billingshurst) earlier this year so have been researching local places to eat out. River Moon is only a 13 minute drive from my house and I visited with a friend for Dinner recently.
We found the staff very friendly and accommodating. We were very impressed with the standard of the food, extremely fresh and tasty. We had the mixed vegetarian starter for two which we found very large, So much so that we asked them to put some in a box to take home with us because we didn’t feel we’d have room left for our main course if we are the whole lot. They were happy to do this for us.
My friend had a king prawn dish for her main course and she said it was very good. I had the vegetarian Massaman which was very tasty. We both shared a vegetarian pad thai.
The only thing that could’ve made the experience a bit better was if they had some ice cream or sorbet for dessert but that wasn’t available, so I had a coffee and my friend had a Jasmine tea.
We were really impressed with our meal and the service so will definitely be eating here again in the future.

Went for a meal at the River Moon last night and very happy to recommend. Food and service was exceptional so will certainly be returning. Thank you very much to all the staff.
Called in one lunchtime. Selected from the lunch menu, 2 courses for £15.50: chicken satay and king prawn penang curry. Was going to have a dessert for the extra £2 but the two courses were ample. And the food? Well amongst the best Thai food I've had. The chicken was very tender and the curry, well there was masses of it! As I travel this way quite a bit I will call in again and again.

I went to this really lovely restaurant with friends. We wanted to go somewhere where we weren't rammed-in and could chat and be heard! The food was fabulous , served by authentic Thai waiting staff, very well presented, and reasonably-priced. I would highly recommend the river moon
